Israel's fertility and birth rates are a demographic outlier among the wealthy nations of the world for one simple reason: The state of Israel is, in fact, a colonial, settler, Apartheid state. As such, it is incumbent upon Israelis and immigrant Jews to maintain high fertility and birth rates once within the borders of Israel. Large Israeli families and a growing Jewish population provide then provide the political platform, justification and impetus for displacing Palestinians from the land. Indeed, every colonial, settler project, whether in Africa, the Americas, or Australia, did the very same thing. Therefore, if Israel succeeds in eradicating the Palestinians in a manner similar to the way Europeans succeeded in eradicating the aborigines of Australia or the native peoples of the Americas, then Israel's birth and fertility rate would, within one generation, also fall below replacement, and begin to align with that of other western European countries. After all, Israel is quite simply a European/American colonial outpost in the Middle East.
