Thank you for sharing! The commentary on jet fighter formation flying like that along with showing the very close specifics of how you made this draw bar... really great , subscribed!
Just found your channel its great. The stories is much better than music or some of the other things people do. Rotary smp always tells good stories too. Thanks for the videos.
Thank you so much! I’m one of the guys that hates TH-cam music, so I have plain videos. And I’m glad roterysmp talked me into sharing stories. I love his! And thank you again…..
100% learning to grind HSS tooling is an absolute must. The southbend how to run a lathe book has ana excellent section it. It will drastically improve your shop efficiency!
I sure plan on learning. Also, I plan to make grinding jigs to be more exact. HSS that's ground correctly is incredible! And is do have the South Bend book. I'll reference it. And thank you so much.....
@@jster1963 Awesome! I use a belt/disc sander combo for mine. Flat faces and indexable tables make it pretty easy. I'd highly recommend a water cup for cooling the tool steel as you grind it. Hone afterwards on a stone. Sounds like you are on the right track! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
Good job dude. The only thing I’d do differently is I would drill a hole in the draw bar in the threaded section, then pin it. This way it doesn’t unscrew and leave a collet bound tight in the head with no way to remove it.
Well, I DID enjoy watching this! Also, thank you for flying my pretty, badass, taxpayer funded (that's me) government airplanes around amazing our friends and scaring our enemies! I wasn't able to do that myself, but I did work for an ASG in Alaska helping out where I could. Go get 'em, tiger.
LOL! Thank you so much! I did love the plane you got me ;-) I'm not sure what an ASG is though. And Alaska is a beautiful state, but too cold for this guy. What's funny is that Chicago is colder than Anchorage. And thanks again....
Where is part 2 of the HF bench blaster where you modify it more? I’ve looked at all your videos sir and can’t find it. I’m looking to mod mine if I can find the video. Thanks
Well….. I’m sorry to say that I haven’t made that video yet. Life has gotten in the way. I’m in the middle of moving now too, so I won’t be doing it anytime soon. But that’s for the kind words…..
You need to watch some youtuber makers to get the production quality up. But you may have sometjkng thst will fill your pockets here. I just wish I had the money being disabled now to buy a new mini lathe and or mill they are so fancy and precise the last 15 years!
Thank you very much! I do watch tons of maker videos, but I'm not sure what production quality you're talking about. Video, audio, lighting, etc. I'm a one man show and don't want to look like a Hollywood production. I hope you can get a mill or lathe soon, cuz they are super cool......
That is a nice chuck you have on that lathe Jasper. Is that a Bison? The nightmare of every controller, a transponder comes on on a static horizontal location, high vertical speed, in a high traffic density area like Florida :)
That chuck is awesome and yes, it is a Bison. And don't worry, I was not a surprise to ATC. They knew I when and where I was coming. It was totally coordinated.;-) And thank you very much.....

Love these old pilot stories. Flying has always been a dream, and sadly that's all it will ever be. Keep them coming. Love to hear it.
Many of my friends wanted to be pilots but something medically disqualified them. And thank you for the kind words…..
I confess that I enjoy the stories as much as the lathe and shaper tutorials. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much!

Nice work Mr Jester also keep the flying stories coming its always great to hear other people's life experiences. From down under.

Always good to see the shaper being used.

That's what I need for my Atlas H Mill, what I most likly will use is a tension bolt from a 13B, I got a pile of them, ( remember the movie "THEM")
It really works well. I don't know what a 13B is and I never saw that movie. And thank you very much.....
