Hi James nice touch to move the same blues progression up and down the bass neck i stared this similar technique on songs that have a repetitive bass line with some interesting effects As always great lesson cheers John

Good tips. Similarly, I have noticed that even a simple root and fifth bass line (usually in gospel and bluegrass) can be made very interesting by playing octaves of the root and fifth

Absolutely... there’s so much just in those notes!

I think there are so many blues lessons for beginner and they learning all the same beginner blues bass lines, the same shapes to use and the same chord progression. As a beginner you learn a simple shuffle blues riff, maybe with some variations and thats it.

      That's a brilliant insight! Cheers!

Dont sweat the negative comments, James, your lessons have been highly useful, and (thankfully!) get right to the point, unlike some others.
So keep on keepin' on !

Suspicious is all I can about your business. I've bought books from you, but I don't get any answers to emails. And you keep on spamming my email several times a day even though I numerous times tried to unsubscribe. It's a shame... I liked the books. But why can't you leave me alone?

      James here...
I’m sorry your having that experience...
Can you email our customer service team on lessons@ebassguitar.com so we can investigate what’s happening?
We never knowingly not respond to emails so I’d like to look into what’s going on.
      Cheers

@@ebassguitar Hi James. Thanks for your reply. The problem is that I've already done that, and I didn't receive any reply. I've also tried to unsubscribe several times without any luck. What to do? I would like to continue following your channel and buying your books, but I don't like those many many emails (commercials).
