Good tips. Similarly, I have noticed that even a simple root and fifth bass line (usually in gospel and bluegrass) can be made very interesting by playing octaves of the root and fifth
I think there are so many blues lessons for beginner and they learning all the same beginner blues bass lines, the same shapes to use and the same chord progression. As a beginner you learn a simple shuffle blues riff, maybe with some variations and thats it.
Dont sweat the negative comments, James, your lessons have been highly useful, and (thankfully!) get right to the point, unlike some others. So keep on keepin' on !

Absolutely... there’s so much just in those notes!

but I dont what are the notes after you press note C then F then G.
Repeating shapes/fingering over the 1, 4 and 5 patterns.
Try adding fills?
What I miss: rich library of good blues patterns / riffs, useful and sounding fills, and relevant rhythm variations
