nice job raul, you and issac did well, nice hammock, puts those diamondbacks to sleep. i use a balance and hookem the same way you do.. maybe not as often, my brother and i caught 5 last sunday, solo today hooked 2 landed one "42, lost a big one early a.m., and 3 striper... get some ice for that knot.
Great day of fishing. I like the hammock you made. Where did you get the burlap and poles from? You should get one of the those floating tubes they sell at the pool store and cut it up and slide the pieces between the cap and burlap so it will float if it slips out of your hands.
@@donlonganecker5178 I got the burlap yardage from my work and sewed it together and bought the closet poles at home depot I might try it see if it floats thank you👍🏼
Good job on the sturgeon! I fished the mothball yesterday.. I caught a couple big leopard sharks which I've never done before at the mothball.. it's crazy that salt line is definitely moving..
For over the last 40 years of fishing in and around the horse shoe and all the way up to the duck blinds the fish are known for running straight at the boat after being hooked we figured that out in the 80s we would yell reel reel reel when someone sets the hook and sometimes they will swim right buy the boat before you can catch up to it so always reel fast I HOOKED 5 BUY BY MYSELF LAST SATURDAY ....
@@ItsAllGoodFishing No i am fishing below you by bouy #4 in 30 feet of water and 2 of the fish did the same thing ran straight for the boat on hook set but im hip to them and I reel as fast as i can to catch up to them and 1 of those was about 7 foot 150 lbs I will be out there on saturday but because of the moon phase,water temp dropping and rain I know it is going to be slow ...
@ yes I think you will be ok cause depending we’re you launching you can alway get there and if it looks choppy just turn around I don’t it before myself
