They made a time skip (1 year later) on episode 14 they had a kissing scene so Bong Yi might be 20 years old that time. (Sorry if there's a wrong grammar 🥴)

I just finished watching the drama and gosh.... The last episode made me cry so much. I never actually thought of watching 'mouse's tbh. However, after I watched Lee seunggi's Korean Odyssey, I wanted to watch more of his drama's. I gotta say, I made the right choice to watch 'mouse'. Well this drama took me through a swing of emotions. Lee Seung-gi played the perfect paychopath, even though I felt really bad for him at the end. Park Juhyun also did a really good job playing her role. In my universe these two became a couple, and lived happily. I have to say this, at least they kissed once 😆

Tbh I never became sad for Baerum after knowing that he is the killer... I wanted him to live a long life with guilt. But somewhere I was hurt because those moments with granny, bong yi etc was not meaning full for him...and the moments with Chi kook too...when he came to the funeral and cried, I hated him the most... when the drama started I actually stanned him like he's so kind...but at the end it all changed.
U really need to view it from their shoes too, psychopaths are treated shitty since they were born, most of them turn killer because they were told they are monsters, baerum was an example of that. Just think both baerum and the doctor has a psychopathic genes with 1% genius chance but one chose to be genius in serial killing and the other in saving lives. Yet , we shud not ignore the difference in the living circumstances they were brought into, baerum still love his fake mother despite the several attempts of him being killed and he really started killing because of choi shin sending him a push by creating a culprit who allegedly killed his parents and siblings, his motives was vengeance and not pleasure. Till then his urge to kill or become a serial killer was controlled either by harming animals or himself. This shows he has emotions , him praying in church as a small boy asking for help not to turn into a monster shows he has emotions and he don't want the psychotic genes. Remember psychopath holds no emotions or apathy towards their thoughts and actions , but why do you think he changed, it's because of the people in his life keeps on reminding him that he is a monster till one day he believes it. This breaks my heart into pieces, knowing many psychopath cud have been saved from killing their first victim. And it was the society that push the button for them. The one you shud definitely hate is his father coz he shows no remorse nor acceptance in emotions.

If they took care of them well he wouldn't have end up being a serial killer. Bareum was born a psychopath but he was not born a serial killer. The killer was made. What I do not like about this drama is that it portraits 99% of the time psychopaths turn into serial killers but in reality it is extremely rere even for psychopaths to become serial killers and not all serial killers are psychopaths. Also a child of a serial killer turn into a serial killer is not common too. Starting with the psychopathy gene they do it wrong in the drama. But the characteristics of serial killers and psychopaths was portrayed well.

I was wondering the same about serial killer who had kids, I mean, man they have to go thru alot , imagine having to know that ur dad or mom raped, killed many people and then have to live with your life being reminded that you have the serial killer gene, that's haunting, my heart goes out to those who have to face this alone, both the victim of serial killing and the victim of psychopathy.
The frontal/hindsight lobe was said to contain the conscious part of your brain, meaning his psychopathic behaviour were mostly his subconscious brain, which is 90% of his identity leaving the 10% of consciousness from someone else's brain defining his real humane emotions, now this is theoretical. A serial killer has no emotions nor apathy towards his response or actions, hence after the brain transplant (regardless the donor) seung gi was conscious 90% with his actions and reaction, his even aware most of the time wen he loses control making him less of a psychopath and more of an actual victim/survivor. The tragedy behind this is that, altho his genes was identified to be psychotic, the environment and the people in his life are 90% to be blamed for his serial killings. If he was told since young that he is not a monster or atleast medicated or just simple loved for, he wud have fight his psycho genes just to not become a monster! Also edit - the guy whose brain got sliced of for transplants loved dp Choi but seung gi (officer Jung) love byongyi. If his consciousness was controlled by his donor he wud have been obsessed with pd choi and not byongyi. Which mean his consciousness is his and not his donor's!
Mid- sentence stop killed me at the last ep. I wanted him to express his feelings but he just couldn't get himself to after all he did. His suffering was justified since all the victims family suffered way more. But yes indeed it killed me how he really loved her but his past would never ever permit them to be one. It's a tragic love story indeed. The writer of this drama was one of the best! It just made me feel turmoil of emotions. I felt this when I watched Hotel de Luna. I couldn't eat well neither sleep. It's hard to move on from such an amazing screen play by all the actors but mostly Lee Seunggi. His acting was something that will get engraved in me till the end of time. We really need such versatility and good execution skills. He did so well I'm in aw of him. He never stops surprising.
SPOILER ALERT The moment i watched the first episode I already guess that he is the psychopath and not Yohan but I keep doubting myself because the writer keep confusing us but the closer I am to the truth the more I'm hoping the Jung Ba Reum is not the killer even though It's getting obvious. Especially when Detective Ko said that Jung Ba Reum will be his little brother, at that moment I pulled my hair in frustration. I watched a lot of K-drama but this MOUSE hits different, I really love it.

Since we worked all together on it we tried to understand every detail that could possibly confuse us. Everytime we found smtg confusing during our viewing we would just screenshot the scene and talk about it together! We found answers to almost everything i think? so yeah i'm confident about being able to clearly explain some twists about the show!

ok so i am on ep 13 watching spoilers with all these titiles lmao i thought ke kills bong yi in ep 19 but ig she finds something out and so he dint kill her lmaoo i really beleived he killed her and i was soo sad mouse really does make u think a lot , but then also like what if they go sike and he kills her in ep 20 like its going to be me heartbrtoken then given hope but then again heartbroken .
You should watch the full episodes to get the entire story! It's more like bongyi will kill bareum at this point 😂 i personally think that a member of OZ kidnapped her at the end of ep19 to threaten bareum and make a deal with him... i don't know where ep20 will lead us tho :c

Well this drama took me through a swing of emotions. Lee Seung-gi played the perfect paychopath, even though I felt really bad for him at the end. Park Juhyun also did a really good job playing her role. In my universe these two became a couple, and lived happily. I have to say this, at least they kissed once 😆

He wasn't love her even before brain surgery BUT as psychopath, Jung Bareum mark her as mother of his future offspring. Sound creepy he protects her as well give her necklace made from cat's teath. So he wouldn't harm her but not meaning he loving her. Much more creepy he want her even she was a minor at that time.

Tbh I never became sad for Baerum after knowing that he is the killer... I wanted him to live a long life with guilt. But somewhere I was hurt because those moments with granny, bong yi etc was not meaning full for him...and the moments with Chi kook too...when he came to the funeral and cried, I hated him the most... when the drama started I actually stanned him like he's so kind...but at the end it all changed.
U really need to view it from their shoes too, psychopaths are treated shitty since they were born, most of them turn killer because they were told they are monsters, baerum was an example of that.
Just think both baerum and the doctor has a psychopathic genes with 1% genius chance but one chose to be genius in serial killing and the other in saving lives.
Yet , we shud not ignore the difference in the living circumstances they were brought into, baerum still love his fake mother despite the several attempts of him being killed and he really started killing because of choi shin sending him a push by creating a culprit who allegedly killed his parents and siblings, his motives was vengeance and not pleasure. Till then his urge to kill or become a serial killer was controlled either by harming animals or himself. This shows he has emotions , him praying in church as a small boy asking for help not to turn into a monster shows he has emotions and he don't want the psychotic genes. Remember psychopath holds no emotions or apathy towards their thoughts and actions , but why do you think he changed, it's because of the people in his life keeps on reminding him that he is a monster till one day he believes it. This breaks my heart into pieces, knowing many psychopath cud have been saved from killing their first victim. And it was the society that push the button for them.
The one you shud definitely hate is his father coz he shows no remorse nor acceptance in emotions.
@@zeema757 Definitely I agree with you. He was born emotionless so he did not understand why he was slaped by his step father for killing the rabbit. If they took care of them well he wouldn't have end up being a serial killer. Bareum was born a psychopath but he was not born a serial killer. The killer was made.
What I do not like about this drama is that it portraits 99% of the time psychopaths turn into serial killers but in reality it is extremely rere even for psychopaths to become serial killers and not all serial killers are psychopaths. Also a child of a serial killer turn into a serial killer is not common too. Starting with the psychopathy gene they do it wrong in the drama. But the characteristics of serial killers and psychopaths was portrayed well.
@@BeckysMilkyWay exactly it does portray psychopathy in a toxic way. I mean, the society creates them and throw them out on the street and then blame them for taking revenge.
I know for a fact that we all are in some way mentally unwell, to put it politely, the only difference is that we can control it, yet circumstances changes peoples intentions and most of the time, even when u intend to be gud, people or situation forces you to react the other way.
I was wondering the same about serial killer who had kids, I mean, man they have to go thru alot , imagine having to know that ur dad or mom raped, killed many people and then have to live with your life being reminded that you have the serial killer gene, that's haunting, my heart goes out to those who have to face this alone, both the victim of serial killing and the victim of psychopathy.

The frontal/hindsight lobe was said to contain the conscious part of your brain, meaning his psychopathic behaviour were mostly his subconscious brain, which is 90% of his identity leaving the 10% of consciousness from someone else's brain defining his real humane emotions, now this is theoretical.
A serial killer has no emotions nor apathy towards his response or actions, hence after the brain transplant (regardless the donor) seung gi was conscious 90% with his actions and reaction, his even aware most of the time wen he loses control making him less of a psychopath and more of an actual victim/survivor.
The tragedy behind this is that, altho his genes was identified to be psychotic, the environment and the people in his life are 90% to be blamed for his serial killings. If he was told since young that he is not a monster or atleast medicated or just simple loved for, he wud have fight his psycho genes just to not become a monster!
Also edit - the guy whose brain got sliced of for transplants loved dp Choi but seung gi (officer Jung) love byongyi. If his consciousness was controlled by his donor he wud have been obsessed with pd choi and not byongyi. Which mean his consciousness is his and not his donor's!

Mid- sentence stop killed me at the last ep. I wanted him to express his feelings but he just couldn't get himself to after all he did. His suffering was justified since all the victims family suffered way more. But yes indeed it killed me how he really loved her but his past would never ever permit them to be one. It's a tragic love story indeed. The writer of this drama was one of the best! It just made me feel turmoil of emotions. I felt this when I watched Hotel de Luna. I couldn't eat well neither sleep. It's hard to move on from such an amazing screen play by all the actors but mostly Lee Seunggi. His acting was something that will get engraved in me till the end of time. We really need such versatility and good execution skills. He did so well I'm in aw of him. He never stops surprising.

The moment i watched the first episode I already guess that he is the psychopath and not Yohan but I keep doubting myself because the writer keep confusing us but the closer I am to the truth the more I'm hoping the Jung Ba Reum is not the killer even though It's getting obvious. Especially when Detective Ko said that Jung Ba Reum will be his little brother, at that moment I pulled my hair in frustration. I watched a lot of K-drama but this MOUSE hits different, I really love it.

@@nawshinanjum3914 hello! No way, in fact during the broadcast period i was analyzing with friends every single episode and emitting theories about mouse. Since we worked all together on it we tried to understand every detail that could possibly confuse us. Everytime we found smtg confusing during our viewing we would just screenshot the scene and talk about it together! We found answers to almost everything i think? so yeah i'm confident about being able to clearly explain some twists about the show!

200% worth it! Everything about it is perfect and the scenario just so well made~ i think the ending really depends on how you interpret it, i personally felt reaaally happy it was beautiful!
