Bro, I’ve been watching you for years and have nothing but love for all of your content (especially your abandoned and overnight camping vids). Lovin the Everglades series, too, but for some reason, these vids hit different. Maybe it’s the isolation or the snakes, but I don’t know: gives me an uneasy feeling and a little legit concern for your safety. You clearly know what you’re doing, but at the same time? Be careful, that’s all. To me, the Everglades are easily the sketchiest place you’ve ever filmed. Thanks for another year of amazing content.
gotta get yourself one of those hats with a net around it lol. maby some thin netting to drape around you too. that would help alot with the bugs. anyways awesome video as always!
That snake appears to be an Eastern Ratsnake based on my searches. Also, I live near a large state park with a big lake and a lot of trails. Sometimes I'm out on those back trails at night and if you're not careful you'll walk right into a massive orb weaver web and end up with a 2 inch spider on your face. Sometimes there are so many webs out there I'll hold a stick out in front of me like you do with your tripod to keep the webs off. I've had so many smaller spiders on my face. The horse flies were bad this last year. Had to fight off dozens of them at once. Bit me through my shirt even, and they love sweat. Had so many welts on my back. No gators or cottonmouth, but we do have copperheads.
I have a camp in the glades and it's 3 Mike's from any dry land and bears break in and eat the can goods. They travel through anything just fyi. My camp is off the alley. They do not care lol
Post will be like, I lost two toes but they’re pinky toes so I’ll be alright…I actually read that we don’t really need pinky toes because it’s the off season 😂😂😂
What hurts more. A deer fly or black fly bite? I camped in the Adirondack Mountains in New York and the black flies were horrible on the water in a tin canoe!!!!!!

Thanks for saying that. It’s what I’m thinking but didn’t know exactly how to put it.

Post 10 I been watching for years, I’m in north Florida, lake city. When you head back up I’d love to buy you lunch
I really like that you talk to us as travel.
Best nature walks ever.
all the orb weavers be like "maaaan.." 😄
Feel like I’m really getting to know the everglades now!
Is this the walking back part of your gator sleepover? You had a large section that was sped up and I'm thinking this is it
Yes it is
Definitely a yellow rat snake so cool!
Awesome
I wonder what clearing all that area for farmland was like back in the day.
Hi Post ✌️
We should send this video to Gwen Stefani of the 90s band, No Doubt. Post10 is truly "walking into spiderwebs "
OK now you're making me go and watch that video now :D
Hope you all have a great New Year

3 miles from land
We are in airboat country and deer and bears are walking all through the swamp. More deer than anything but bears are there

I would say definitely the deer flys
You amaze me.
Yeah yeah, blaming the gator for growling. We all know it was Bigfoot again.

Would be cool if you saw a cougar.
