I've been there this month what a spectacular lake it is Eklutna have some mindblowing views; I visited in summer; seeing the whole lake got frozen how beautiful the nature is; I like your videos YoGoMan, the transitions are top class

As a figure skater this has always been my dream :) I'll be in Alaska this summer to climb Gold Star Peak but will have to come back in the winter for this one day.
Did you film this on Dec 14th, 2020 by any chance? Curious whether that other group out there might be myself and a few friends. Either way, the ice was incredible. And like you, we turned around when it started to get really thin.

Hey man! I have the best solution for this trip. I currently ice skate on nordic ski boots (Salomon S-race skate) with ice skates attached, but ofcourse you can also attach ski's. They are super comfortable and quite fast on the ice.
