What if you only recorded your voice? All my calls are recorded but for states that don't allow recording they don't record the person I'm speaking with.
The cold call videos on the channel are industry agnostic…the tips should apply to HR augmentation. Do you have a specific question around that industry?
At 6:14 when he gives his own personal opening pitch, he sounds like the coked up executive talking to Hans in Nakatomi Plaza on Diehard trying to sell John McClain on why he should give up…just before Hans blows his head off 😂
Quick question, I am in a company where they give me straight google listing numbers and I have to talk with the gate keeper all the time. Is this a no go? Could I succeed in that role or is this a waste of time?

You can tell at 17:19 that Matt must've gotten some type of alert or DM or SOMETHING alarming that completely and entirely took him away from the conversation. It's actually hilarious watching him NOT pay attention to the conversation. His distraction (whatever it is) is very distracting to us, trust me.
I didn't watch, just listened, but now that I see it, yeah, I'm pretty sure his girl broke up with him right in the middle of the call. Good job staying on task through all that.
For the love of god stop asking how they are. You said at the beginning do not sound like the last 5 cold callers, then proceed to ask the question every single one of them asked. Seriously, if you dont believe that this lowers your status as a sales person and puts you into the salesman box instantly the next time you get a cold call and they ask this generic question reply with 'pretty good since my brother just got hit by a car' or something outlandish. What will they do every single time? Pitch anyways. Never ask 'how are you' its losing sales.
@@jonathanliebe4770 "How have you been?" is just different enough than "How are you ?" that it's gotten some play. Gong did a famous (or infamous) series of tests on cold calling in 2018 where How Have You Been was shown to lead to more continued conversations. Now, it's worn out and gives the recipient the SAME feeling as the original.
Sorry guys. Permission-Based Openers put you in a Beta position. Just as bad: callers doing poor versions of PBOs have flooded the phone lines (it's December 2024), to the point to those recipients who MAY have given the caller an extra few seconds if called when this first posted now will not.

One of the best videos on the topic. Thank you very much, Gentlemen. 😀
Thanks Max!
You should do some live cold calls. Would love to see this :)
Would if I could. It’s illegal in Pennsylvania to record calls without the other party knowing
What if you only recorded your voice? All my calls are recorded but for states that don't allow recording they don't record the person I'm speaking with.
+1 for live calls in a way that is obeying the law
Love to hear verbiage if your solution is very similar to another to the point they would just be coming for a comparative conversation.
Yep. Glad Ronen talked about it…it’s not shared enough

Great Call! Best place to get good data (cell numbers) Health coaches, Yoga instructors, etc? Thoughts?
Zoominfo is the best but it’s expensive. Apollo.io is a good alternative
Quality of data . ICP. Accurate contact info. Before everything. Saves time.
Got that right

I’d use other resources to find the business owner name

Matt says in his other videos that asking how their day is going basically ends any opportunity you may have had.
