Although I cannot believe this game exists, I was actually super pleased it does! Super satisfying and a very well made game, also bringing back 15 year old memories was unexpected! What weird simulator games do you secretly enjoy?
I'm a car detailer by trade. The second most satisfying thing is powerwashing, behind the final cleanup when all tasks are done. And yes, I always make a shaft&balls on the driver's door. Cheers!
My friend said exactly the same thing about power hosing paving tiles! It's the repeating pattern that swims in your head when you're trying to go to sleep.
I like when you talk about yourself, it's entertaining and it makes the video feel more personal. Plus yeah, gigs you did when you were young is a good topic, i usually bring it up when meeting new people. Awesome vid man!
You have no idea how much this makes me want to play House Flipper. The power Washing is similar to the painting parts of House Flipper, just...so satisfying to see the color change (in this case, from dirty to clean) and just...god, it's too good!
You mentioned a lot of techniques and technology I was familiar with a long time ago, and have also become more familiar with through working in a power tool store/repair shop. 9/10 for simulation accuracy, 3/10 for carpal tunnel syndrome.
Been watching Drae's let's plays of this, and now seeing you do that as well is super satisfying. Like yeah, already seen these maps get cleaned... BUT WE ARE TALKING POWERHOSE CLEANING HERE! IT'S ALWAYS GOOD TO SEE! Also super glad hearing you sharing your powerhosing irl stuff x3
I can so relate to dreaming of work. I worked during the summer with some gardening-related tasks and some days when I closed my eyes, all I could see was weeds.
I do a lot of power washing, and when it cleans like this game, where you pass over each piece once, it’s satisfying. But, if you ever power wash a wooden deck, there are some boards that take 10 minutes or more to clean. Those are just frustrating.
Yeah rce, I currently work this as my summer job and now we have fancy things called surface scrubbers that clean a large diameter circle, which obviously turns into an oval of clean 1 foot wide, makes things like decks and driveways really quick
I also had a short stint of pressure washing and used a zip tie on the handle to keep the trigger squeezed. You can slide the zip tie to release the trigger.
Life’s twists and turns brought me to owning a power cleaning company for almost a decade. Some of the best work I’ve ever done! There is nothing quite like using a 9gpm 3500psi steam cleaner to clean entire buildings and parking lots/garages in a matter of hours. Ps: the turbo nozzle is legit irl.
Fun fact, the rotating tip is used in my field of work with natural gas pipes, when I have contractor expose underground gas pipes were required to make them use the rotating tip in order to prevent constant pressure on a specific point of the pipes coating so it won’t get all torn up, so I’m a way this video reminds me of my job too lmao
I used to work on a busy building site as a power washer. I would have to power was the wheels of every vehicle leaving the site to try to reduce dirt and mud being released onto the residential roads surrounding the site. I would power wash for 9 hours a day 5 days a week, I'm pretty sure I got trench foot from the spray back and constantly having wet boots.. not to mention the pain in my lower arms from squeezing the trigger and from fighting the recoil. Was not as enjoyable as your videos, but it was a decent wage and a good stepping stone to get a better position within the same company, lol
I know what you're talking about. At 17 I got a job where sweeping and shoveling dirt off sidewalks was almost all I did. For most of the first month, I dreamed almost nothing but doing that. Considering I was so exhausted after all the labor, that meant that I spent 8-10 hours a day doing it IRL and then 10-12 hours a day dreaming about it. Thought I was gonna lose my marbles lol.
The brain is very interesting, the way it processes this kind of input. For a while after I started working at an auto parts store, I would go to sleep with part numbers running through my mind. I could see the numbers printed on the tickets and all the shelves lined with numbered boxes, like a really lame screensaver in my head.
I really like this game and hope they add more because I completed the career mode in like… 14 hours. Also don’t forget you can press r to rotate the nozzle. It’s really helpful.
My dad owned a vent hood cleaning company,(restaurant grease traps and stuff) he had a lot of experience with power washer, I don’t know where I was going with this, but it was in Detroit Mishima
I believe you constantly power washing in your head is a commonly known effect called "the Tetris effect", it was discovered because a group of people in Russia who played a bunch of Tetris when it was originally released often reported seeing falling blocks in their downtime and while they were attempting to sleep.
Six minutes into the first episode and I'm buying the game. 😀 Not too weird, but so far I've been enjoying American Truck Simulator, Fishing Planet (free), House Flipper and Barn Finders, but I've got a few in the pipeline...Cooking Sim, Mr Prepper and now this.
If you find this satisfying, you might also like Viscera Cleanup Detail. Essentially, you go through the aftermath of a level of a game like Doom or Quake, and clean everything back up. Remove bodies/parts, bullet holes, bullets, blood and entrails, put back the health packs, etc.
i almost beat the final level but around 4-5 hours of level was not worth it. also its so fun watching new people find that they have diffrent nozzle heads
you can push right click and it will toggle the water on and off for seeing what is still dirty you can push shift I think that makes the dirty bits shine or just use the tablet as you did
I had to use a power washer when I worked as a solo night cleaner at a small meat plant (slaughter, processing, and packing facility in one). I eventually had to quit because I was getting repetitive stress injury in my wrist from it. Was not worth losing my ability to play guitar, for $9/hr and the occasional call an hour into sleeping after a twelve hour shift cleaning just to bitch at me because they found a single pig hair on the literally like 30' killfloor ceiling.
For whatever reason, parts of this video kept on reminding me of KITCHEN GUN™. I wonder if they have a "kitchen gun" for outdoorsy stuff, like the ones shown in this video.

you have to make this a series now

DID YOU KNOW THAT POWER WASHERS CAN CUT SKIN!!!!
If you enjoyed this game, check out Viscera Cleanup Detail.
You can just press right click to toggle the hose on and off without having to hold it lol.
I think this comment made RCE rethink everything he went through to complete this
Yeah i kind of hate you for telling me this 🤣
@@RealCivilEngineerGaming does it bring back memories of the cramps?
RCE is hard core!
Next thing you tell him there is a toggle on those things in real life as well :D
I just watched a middle aged man point an oversized water gun at objects for 18 minutes. Amazing.
Welcome to the internet baka 🤣

My friend said exactly the same thing about power hosing paving tiles! It's the repeating pattern that swims in your head when you're trying to go to sleep.
Yeah it's grim haha
It happens with dishwashing too
The real question is what the hell happened in that backyard?!
Some things are best left unanswered...
Rhino breeding. Obviously
I mean, a lot of the dirt actually looks like soot, so maybe there was a major BBQ accident or the house was on fire.
they were eating taco bell
@@darthplagueis13 There is a level where you can see a volcano in the background, so you may be on to something.

“Real Civil Engineer has IRL experience with powerwashing” is a plot twist I was not expecting, but one that was very welcome.
