beowulf was my go-to last resort servant back when i had first started playing. i always kept him in the back of my party just in case i needed a real heavy hitter
I hate the fact they made him a berserker he has never been angry his hole life , he just chill like that , and he used 3 swords in his adventure , so I argue he should be saber with unlimited bladeworks
Beo carried me back in Year 1, I had a severe lack of good Servants besides Lalter and Emiya so getting a fairly reliable Zerk from the Bryn banner was a godsend. I doubt I would have beat the Demon Tower without him there. And fyi this was WAAAAAY before he got both his current buffs, nowadays Beo is an incredibly solid crit and niche Zerk. Nowadays I have him B10 and grailed to 90, just waiting to suplex the next dragon I throw him at.

Apparently, Beowulf’s name is partially the origin the the word “Berserker” In other words, like Hassan, the Berserker Class itself can be a catalyst to summon Beowulf.

I have him at NP4 and he is great. It is either between him or Hercules and I usually choose him
Both fulfill different roles, so Beowulf is the frontline while Herc is the life insurance.
Now imagine if the Danes were playing nightcore in the mead hall every evening, there wouldn't have been a country left for Beowulf to save
