    Worked in the Visitor Center here, July 1999 to Feb 2000, and again June to August 3, 2000. I totally loved it as a Visitor Center Volunteer. You need a unit to live in.

    Excellent! There's a winter storm headed your direction with Winter Storm warnings issued for NM tonight and tomorrow, so hope you aren't traveling or too high in elevation. !/2-3/4 inch of rain is predicted for SW AZ where I'm at for Sunday-Monday, so that should really kick off the desert bloom big time. How are you finding NM for cell reception? Thanks for doing such great videos.

    • @LoveYourRV
      @LoveYourRV  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      NWHiker New Mexico cell reception was good, but we were there only a short while passing through along I10, will be circling back to explore it more in a few weeks.
      We are currently in Big Bend National Park area in Texas, cell service here is awful but the scenery is awesome! :) We are staying in Lajitus, TX at an RV park waiting on new landing jacks being shipped in for the fifth wheel, had one fail completely the other day, lucky trailer was still on the truck. rvhappyhour.com/members/raytronx/ Gonna replace both. Video will come shortly after, haha

      Love Your RV Sounds like you should put both new ones on and keep the old working one as an emergency spare.
      Any change with your water pump status? When I lived on a sailboat I always had a spare water pump and 2 installed bilge pumps and a spare. Some items importance rate carrying a spare.
      Love your videos and pic's guys. Cheers.

    I camped there with the girl scouts back in 1974. I was only 12 yrs old and lived in Deming. I fell 20 feet off of one of those rocks. Banged up my knee and got scratches. Beautiful area and I sure do miss it now that I've been on east coast for 40 yrs. Want to take trip out someday to visit. Miss the wide open spaces.

    Just one suggestion. When panning your camera please slow down so we can see the scenery better. Thanks for the great videos.

    Great video! What kind of camera do you use? And what do you use to edit with...software-wise?

    • @LoveYourRV
      @LoveYourRV  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cindy Nevarez Video I use a Sony camcorder HDR-CX190. Nice little unit, several year old now and stills I have a Sony NEX5R. Love it! For editing I use Corel Videostudio Pro X7 I tried several but it runs best on my Windows laptop as it takes advantage of the 64bit processor. For stills I use Corel Paintshop Pro X7 and good old Windows Photo Gallery.
      I'm thinking of doing a blog post and video soon detailing my camera equipment and software used for the blog photos and videos as several folks have asked now. - Ray

    Did you have cell and wifi service at this park? I thank you for this video, and for mentioning that there is no dump station. Very useful info, but really need to know about how cut off from the world I'd be while camping there. Thank you.

    • @LoveYourRV
      @LoveYourRV  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We had a Verizon connection there. If you look at Campedium an excellent resource for finding out about cell connections at campsites, it looks like most reported Verizon worked but not ATT - www.campendium.com/city-of-rocks-state-park
      Sorry, I can't remember if they had WiFi you'll have to contact the state park. Cheers! Ray
