Firstly, to be reminder over, over, and over again: Picking side is not how Indonesia or ASEAN countries doing the business. As simple as that.
Secondly: Indonesia always open the investment from ANY country, especially from US. But US oftentimes rejected the term and conditions given by the Indonesian government. While China mostly accept all term and conditions given by the Indonesian government. China agreed win-win, not zero-win that US always gave.
Third, China mostly DID swift actions related all businesses proposal with Indonesia, showing how serious they are. While US mostly stick with discussion, discussion, after discussion. Too much talk without any "real" action.
So what she means closer to Beijing?
