Life is a freeway! I wanna ride it....Never, actually. It is a decent figure, but nothing I would get all gaga for other anything other than nostilgia reasons. Sweet review. Keep up the awesome. 🙂
@@V-Revolticon Following the engineering of his peers, he was never going to set the stage on fire. I think perhaps a re-examination of this set is overdue. Let's see some updates!
The only other figure (alongside Wideload) that I owned back in the day, not overly keen nowadays on the shade of blue they used, but the altmode looks half decent (and modern updates of him and the rest of the team would be cool, we've seen some surprising updates fairly recently like Quake and Flywheels get new toys, so this team is one that might get revealled at some point) and it's a great name. I agree with you, it's a shame they never gave them similar guns to the Battlechargers, that would have improved these toys ever so slightly. Almost there lol, great review :)
I think the addition of any kind of weapon accessory could have elevated them from proper shit to quite shit. Thinking back to my younger days, I think I actually owned four of these guys. Wideload, Rollbar,Searchlight and Goldbug. The pros or cons of being an adult collector huh?
@@WolfKang1 Oh definitely, and I certainly had Wideload and Freeway, but that was it. And oh yeah lol, as long as the pros outweigh the cons. If Goldbug is the remaining figure for the reviews, I hope yours hasn't got GPS :(
@spider-fan-uk I wasn't aware that Goldbug wad ever suseptable to GPS. I thought it was the figures later down the line. The gold plastic was more bronze coloured.

@@WolfKang1 I might have got my facts wrong, sorry about that.
I’d say the Firecons are marginally better than the Throttlebots.
I have fond memories of them all… safely viewing from my Rose-tinted glasses! 😉
@@bumblejumper82 Firecons are better?! Ooooo.... Controversy!!
