    As a realistic Michigan fan, I know Orji gives us the best chance of winning every game. However, my God, it was terrible throw lofting the ball to Loveland's inside shoulder instead of a rifle pass to Loveland's outside shoulder which would have been a TD. Instead, it's a pick up 24-3 and changed the whole game from that point

    • @skewedlemonss80
      @skewedlemonss80 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Does orji give us the best chances though? His advantage over warren is his running, but he hasn't ran that much. Obviously neither are great, but we could still have a ground game with Warren and still throw the ball less frequently. I just think Warren at least has the chance of passing. If any team stops our run game with orji like in the second half of the usc game, we are doomed.

    • @jerodjones6846

      @skewedlemonss80 Davis Warren is a disaster at QB. Basically the Wolverines are screwed going forward. Sherrone Moore's face and body language confirmed that fact in the interviews post game. And he is to blame for not going after at least a decent QB in the portal

    This is what it looks like when you have no depth on a defensive line and a qb that can’t keep a defense honest with 10-20 yard passes. Oregon, Illinois, Ohio State, and probably Indiana will beat us this year.
    That said Orgi did improve in the passing game. But it’s incremental at best. He needs major strides in improvement week to week.

  • @QuoteMentor
    @QuoteMentor หลายเดือนก่อน

    Answer this question: is it easier to take a guy that can pass the football and teach him to not turn it over or to take a guy that can’t pass the football and turn him into a passer? I don’t believe Moore for a second that there’s more to Orji’s passing game. If there was we would have seen it. And lets not forget he said he we could win a national championship with either him or Warren…

    We need to go to Tuttle if he is available for Washington. If Tuttle is not available we need to go back to Warren, Orji is not a college QB. Since his only skill is running, he needs to be getting 100+ yards per game or more. He has been playing QB for several years going back to High School, he hasn't mastered the basics of playing QB by now, it's just not going to happen. To counter your arguement that Warren sucks, yes, he threw a few bad picks but he also had to deal with a horrible O-Line, which has since improved significantly and Warren is leaps and bounds a betterr passer.

    • @codybass319
      @codybass319 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Orji’s ability to run is what helps the oline. We go back to Warren we go back looking like we did first 3 weeks. Plus you lose the team! The TEAM plays better with Orji out there!

    • @lookatcurryman5974
      @lookatcurryman5974 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Orji has yet to make a bonehead mistake unlike your boyfriend Warren🤷‍♂️ Tuttle isn’t even good so idk why you’re bringing him up. We have no receivers and our OC is sped. Orji is in a bad situation right now and our coaches aren’t helping him at all. Milroe was terrible at first, but once Saban started to model the offense to milroe’s strengths, they took off. Obviously orji is no milroe, but let’s not act like this offense is using him effectively. I doubt denard or Devin Gardner would succeed with Kirk Cambell

    Not playing up to a Michigan standards?
    Michigan Standards was 2 national championships in 70 years. Usually 10 - 2 seasons with a bowl loss. Coaches contributing to those losses.
    Listen to the players responses from last year with their focus on winning a national championship and listen to this years players.
    Winning is great but being able to execute a game plan and not beating yourself has to be the first objective.
    Doesn't look like we're ready to do much of either right now.

    They know this wasn't their best game. And they know this was a sloppy win.... And considering who they have to play for the rest of the season, they know they need to tighten up the run game ship.
    This falls on the new head coach.
    A head coach that seems to have a problem with pointing the ire of scrutiny word belongs - The misplaced appointment of a position, coach. And given responsibility for the whole offensive line. Kirk Campbell is not ready for that. And if you were going to move a position over to that, a myopic choice end the consideration of who My best full of shoe here or there. Why would you take the weakest link?
    I'm sorry the quarterback coach?
    All in the name of continuity...
    If they're gonna manage and handle what they have to for the rest of the season, he needs to deal with. What the real issue is and the real issue is not Alex Orji is not the old line the real issue is the OC
    They need to fix the fact that Twink Martindale did not have an answer for the hurry-up....
    The offense made him huge momentum. Shifting change after the half, which was stupid, they went to a play action right out of the half or first Down. And that's what changed the momentum of the game, because minnesota was ready for that...
    You are a running team, not a passing team. They keep superimposing metrics from a different style of play on to the type of play. That's winning today and that is a rushing quarterback, that's what the dual thread quarterback is.
    This is the system they have been setting up the last three years under Sherrone Moore.
    They have their squad. They need the stop listening to outside pressure to conform in a way that causes them to lose their identity. Because that's what they're trying to do on the outside confuse michigan because they hate Michigan.
    They don't need to decide who the running back is they know who the running back is that's Donovan Edwards, They needed to identify who their power back. Was he kicked the door in? That's Khalel Mullins - And they know who their tight end corp is - Stop trying to conform when you've already won ..
    You've made the argument. They're trying to distract. You don't fall for it!
    Quit being beguiled by meaningless stats. Telling you, you have to have so many yards per game for a passer. No, you don't. This is a dual threat. Let him run the ball down your throat - whatever wins wins, if your squad wasn't ready, that's on them.
    Washington is not gonna be easy, but they smack the hell out of them last year. Let's see what happens next week.
    They will be on the road... they need to be convincing - Greg Schiano has Rutgers looking good though - Michigan needs to take note
