I own a Crazy Hour Vanguard and it's the only FM i have in my collection. It looks stunning, you can question why the 8 and 2 is not perfectly aligned in the center of the dial but I bet it's the only way to fit all 12 numbers on the dial. The case fits (sits) on my wrist perfectly. The leather/rubber strap is so comfy, the clasp is easy to use. Power reserve on this watch is not the best, maybe because I'm so used to Modern Rolex watches. Thats pretty much the only complaint i have. Will i buy another FM? For sure. I know there is a lot of watch enthusiast hate or watch youtuber hate for FM. Claiming they are still using ETA movements charging premium (AKA hublot) :)
I love franck muller because of the tonneau shape. Also, my wife brought me a king conquistador limited edition for my wedding present years ago which cherish. Always wanted to add a crazy hour crazy color piece to my collection. Been on the look out for a good one for a few years now without luck. Seems collectors don't want to sell theirs, which means they must like them too much to let go. They sre still very popular in Asia, so i probably wait till I go back to HK next to source one. Love the rose gold, crazy hours, crazy color one with white strap.
Excellent video, well done! I love rectangular and tonneau watches, but fit is notoriously difficult. I wanted a Reverso for a long time and bought one during the depths of covid in January 2021, but didn’t try it on (it was part of a larger purchase from an AD). It just didn’t fit well and I sold it at a loss. I’ve been looking at rose gold Franck Mullers on line, and your size descriptions really helped. The secondary values for FM are difficult to ignore, but I won’t make the same mistake again i.e. buy without being really sure about the fit.
Thanks a lot! Yes I agree, rectangular/tonneau shaped watches wear usually larger than the specs tell you. Thats why I went for the smallest size Vanguard
A lot of people trash Frank Muller just because once they were famous, but not anymore and coz they used a lot of ETA movements, even tho they were all heavily modified and partially replaced like with platinum rotor. And typically no one cares that the brand is truly unique, hardly any brand can be proud of such recognizable design, also that they make their own like the most complicated movements in the world. Love the brand from the first sight. Master Banker with 3 separate time zones all regulated with a single crown is mind blowing. Also love their skeletonized 7 days Vanguard, World Timer, Remember - the one that is backwards. Frank Muller makes watches fun.
And yet the same trash talker can justify RM11 to be priced at 500k and call it a masterpiece. Okay maybe it's not a good comparison because RMs are pretty Lit.
what is the reference number for the 35mm gold one? love the video! i've always loved that watch and wished it was a Men's watch but this video convinced me it's worth a shot as I prefer a smaller watch anyway!
Hi, very nice video, great content :-) i am trying to learn everything about Franck Muller because I have an opportunity of getting a 30th anniversary double sided rattrapante chrono limited to 30 pieces, its in steel but $ is mid 20s. ....Big question- should i get it? I only reason I hestitate is if I need to sell would it be hard? Your thoughts...
Lovely to see this piece on a brand hardly anyone is talking about, although Jenni did. Some really interesting stuff although personally I would be too self-conscious wearing something that audacious. Call me conservative but the world does need audacious and yes the Crazy Hour is a very cool thing.
Whats your take on the watches from Franck Muller?

Thanks Curt! 🙏🏼 Sorry, no idea unfortunately. Can’t even find that watch online to give you my opinion based on its looks even 🫣

Yeah they deserve some light shined upon them again! Some of the bigger blogs out there seem to be doing quite a good job as well.
Hi
I want to start collecting FM. Where do I start please? For prices and to purchase safely please
Some nice watches, but the road to revamping the brand has to avoid department store distribution.
Hello 👋
Really nice watches i have one but Its sad that the price is not going up … like rolex or others…
They are great value used. Buy one while you can.
Anyone know the reference for watch at 0:05

Can someone explain something to me?
I see pictures of some variants of this model without second hand and others that do, or is it my idea?
Hmm afaik all come with seconds hand except the Ultra Thin one in titanium
Ther numbers are very Alice in wonderland like
I want one but I’m not paying retail.
Should be able to get a sweet deal through your local AD
