With the shorter wheelbase and bigger engine in the 2024 FXR 1000, Is there enough engine heat shielding to prevent the seat and cab area from getting hot like many other UTVs?
Things I notice that my Pro MX has that this doesn't....Steel passenger floor with dead pedal for driver and lockable glove box. Its the little things.
It's not in the rollbar. If you go to 3:37 there's a black plastic box down in the right lower corner with water drops on it. That's the very top of the air intake and the inlet hole is on the engine side. It's at around elbow height as you're sitting in the seat.
The Seats after 1 hour of riding are the pits... Wish they would do something about the cushion.. A old half ton with bench seats was much more comfy. We had to add Padding to ours and it made a difference but it's still not enjoyable on long rides.
I can't diagnose online. If you have concerns, I would, at the very least, take a video and run it by your dealer. Or you may want to check it out with them. Clicking can be something minor, but who knows. I would have it checked.
What are the options to lower the height a couple inches so it fits into a 6.5ft tall horse/cattle trailer? Kawasaki should have designed the cage to be couple inches shorter for farmers and ranchers that use livestock trailers. Smaller tires might be an option but that would take away from performance. What about using tie downs to compress the suspension while loading and hauling in a livestock trailer? Just curious if anyone has a creative solution.
Interesting. I'm not the expert on that, maybe some farmers will come across this comment and be able to help you out. The roll cage is bolt on. They ship from the factory without them attached, so as a one time move, it's absolutely possible, but as a regular on and off thing, I'm not sure how practical that would be.
A lower cage height would have decreased head room. It is hard enough to find a UTV to fit bigger people as is. Besides that, I’d bet most haul these on open trailers.

Does this have a centrifical clutch on the primary clutch like the krx has
I wish Kawasaki would come with front locker !
I would like to know more about the console on the front floor.
It's just a molded plastic piece with two cup holder recesses in it. It's in the perfect place for your kid to kick your drinks over. LOL

Thats my biggest concern. I need to drive it for hours on a work shift. Be cool to have an aftermarket seat swap out ... Is it really that bad ?
Looks capable
I have a clicking sound when in reverse. Is that normal

They let you use the Kawasaki Way trail? Would be nice to see these things in motion.
I'd like to do that too. I'll try to get something on film there in the future.
What is Top Speed?
65 mph
