Approach to weakness
Vagus doesn't relax cricopharyngeus.
Cessation of vagus excitation relaxes it.
He never says vagus relax cricophry ,, 12:55 cricopharyngeous which is constricting the esophagus has to be relaxed , meditated by Vagus nerve means complex modulation of vegal inhibition along w/t simultaneous contraction of suprahyoid & geniohyoid muscles)
Cricopharyngeus is a tonic muscle. It’s in a state of tonic contraction under the influence of vagus which is taken off to facilitate swallowing
