The Judds have always been very special to my family. When my mother was in the hospital fighting leukemia, the Judds were in the San Francisco Bay Area for a concert and my mom's priest knew that she loved them so he contacted them and asked if they would call my mom in the hospital and wish her well. They did! I'll never forget the look on my father's face when he answered the phone in her room and was told that Naomi Judd was on the line for my mother. He thought it was a joke, but no, it was really them. It gave my mom and amazing lift. I will always love them for that. They have such a huge catalogue of hit songs and I'd love to see your reaction to Love Can Build a Bridge.

There is a band called “The Cadillac Three” and I have followed them since the beginning. They have a couple songs that remind me of how country use to be- “ain’t that country” and even a song “graffiti” - to me the voices remind me of a Hank Sr. Also, a song that many people love i but isn’t mainstream is Eric Church, “Lightning” and even “Record Year”. I love this journey!

She was actually cured of her hepatitis. She had mental health issues since before Wynonna (real name Christina) was born. She even tried to kill herself and Wynonna while she was in the womb. Terrible. Their mini series from the 90s was eye opening. RIP Naomi. They were so talented, but health especially mental health is so serious and shouldn't be overlooked. Sorry for the downer news. Wasn't my intention. They were amazing and I know every song in their catalogue!
