I will quit hearthstone. I have waysted 50 bugs for the new expansions, tried to do a new deck for my priest. But i had 7 shamans IN A FUCKING ROW.

Bro why should i play a game, where the creators are either too stupid to balance the game, or do it on porpuse that new expansions are "op" to generate more money. That is just marketing. Draining money from ure pocket. So magic the gathering exists 26 years now and they have a clue on how to balance the game. And obviosly magic needs more intelligence to play, so they now that their player basemant is not stupid enogh to pay for packs because thei are op... its about fun. So tell me:
Why should i play a card game that is more expensive

I did a little resarch and find out that this happend in magic only once in 26 years. I never said that it would be easy to balance the game. But there are so many solutions for that... more tester longer beta phases and so on and so on. So man did you really think that the power levels are so unbalanced because of difficulties of meta balancing? If you want you can gather a ton of data in some days by this big player bases. There are so many options. So it is never good to relly on single opinions, instead give a big player base a voice. So i dont understand why everyone is saying that it is so difficult to balance when you just could make a pbe server and gather data. But ignore me. I can't think racional because of too much crying XD
Edit: but for the beta testing blizzard has to obviusly give the cards for free. They would never do that unless you are big streamer and make titles with: "... so op" so everyone spends money regardless odlf balancing. EVERYTHING is OP then, so you can buy. Isn't it obvios?
I'd say there's something wrong with the meta if the worst matchup of a deck is that same deck.

As a main shaman player i rly like the new deck. Okay i HATE the free 3/4 rush which u allways mutate into something big but since i play shaman even in bad metas i don't mind seeing him being strong right now. The sad thing is that blizzard just seems to not be able to give shaman a good theme (overload, elementals, freeze, ...) which actually works without being completely overpowered. So to compensate the bad overload cards they print good "good in all traits" cards. Players then just don't put in any of the bad and all of the good cards and you got yourself a crazy strong meta deck.
You should try galakrond zoo with both eggs it beats shamans like 80% of the time

My favorites rn are galakrond dragon warrior, and highlander dragon mage. For mage, dragoncaster and tortollan primalist let you consider using pocket galaxy or flamestrike a turn early on aggro decks. I like to toss in malygos (both) and alexstraza (both) which are expensive, but they are great with kindleroost and lunas, along with boardclears like rolling fireball, blizzard, flamestrike, a lucky puzzlebox, zephrys, and so on, just wild.

I have been finding a lot of success against Galakrond Shaman with Murloc Shaman, turns out killing them on turn 6 is a good counter against a 7 mana card

Faceless Corruptor has turned out to be this expansion’s Corridor Creeper. There isn’t a single deck not playing the card right now.

@@DenisCavalcantiMartins The only other card that can do something similar to this. (pushing through taunts while maintaning/developing a board.) is Houndmaster Shaw. A class legendary that requires other cards (and the mana needed to play them) to have this effect. You are telling me that that a neutral minion comparing favorably to a great, almost broken class legendary is OK? Yes, if uncontested, Shaw can snowball even more, but that's besides the point when we are talking about impact in one single turn.

Would you mind if I had the deck list? I’ve been trying to work out a nomi-style shell (i.e. lots of cheap spells + auctioneer and northshire + pyro + circle of healing) for a cool OTK I’ve come up with but all my lists are either too inconsistent at managing the early game and just get destroyed by aggro, or they don’t draw quickly enough and end up fizzling out in the midgame and therefore dying.
My problem is my combo requires a Galakrond package, so fitting that in usually means compromising in another area, e.g. not having enough card draw, control/removal tools, or survivability.

The link above is the deck. I add in Zephrys, as you get through your deck pretty quickly and he is often online in the mid-game. Sathrovarr is amazing with Grave Horror, and so is the Grave Rune. I've won many times solely through the armies of Grave Horrors generated through these combos. I run holy ripple, and two of the shadow word deaths for the big creatures in this meta. Have had pretty good success, and I don't run the Galakrond shell as it clogs up the combo too much.

I would love not to run the Galakrond shell either because it requires so many cards (and is honestly just quite bad versus the rest of the meta). Unfortunately for my combo (it's an OTK I've come up with) it requires Fate Weaver to reduce the cost of the combo pieces to exactly 10 mana so that it can work as an OTK, which means I'm running a full Galakrond package just to get one Emperor Thaurissan tick, lol. Needless to say the deck is pretty awful because of how much effort is required to set it up, but it is really cool and fun when it works

@@ohboyitsjimmie9409 you just need to keep reloading the board with invokes and clearing it with hellfire dragons or spells, eventually the shaman runs out of removal and his invokes lose the trade with the 2 1/1
Not sure what shamans you played but I got crushed using it. Those rush minions just keep cleaning the board and when those taunts come out and the mogu got evevoled it was over. Galakron follow by Shudder is unbeatable.

@@wv77m nether breath and netherwing are key in the matchup, I run the egg package with lackeys and eggs helping me contest the board early. Dark skies has also been very helpful for clearing boards. I kinda have handlock and galakrond zoo together, but no Felgorge as I don't feel like I can commit the dust just yet.
My first time seeing shaman Galakrond was against my brother who was running quest, so I expected 4 2/2’s following the trend of the rest of the Galakrond but no, I was faced against 4 8/8 (with rush) behemoths.

The biggest issue is Shaman's Invoke Package is miles ahead of the competition. 5 mana 3/3 that summons 2 2/1 rush minions is already good. Which lets you play 10/12 in stats for 5. Sprinkle the fact that Galakrond is a tier higher. Oh did I almost forget that same 5 mana 3/3 let's me summon a random 8 drop for FREE with Battlecry: Destroy a 3/3?
The best part is all of that can happen by turn 5 on coin.

I am really happy about highlander hunter still being viable, unlike other decks it doesn't do anything that is unfair or broken and still really solid, although quite expensive
For me I think I'll wait about a week and see the refined decks before I go super hard on ladder.Ill try and go for a control warrior and rogue deck.

been playing quest hunter lots. So far, the overload gal shaman is the tough one, but regular gal shaman isnt so bad. We have rushes too.
I find treant druid a very good counter to the galakrond shaman. Simply pumpin out more treants than they can rush elementals does eventually overwhelm them and then savage roar for the win. It's working for me anyway.

Honestly i feel like the meta will shift around a lot still between now and the end of the year. Galakrond shaman is probably still tier one, but i feel like some control decks are gonna pop up too, as they optimize their lists
Maybe I just had great draws, but I played some dragon reno mage and I completely took apart a galakrond shaman. Health was getting low at times, but overall I cleared his board nearly every turn.
Control decks with large board clears can beat it, but no tempo or aggro decks stand a chance agaisnt shaman rn. Priest and warrior beat shaman as it is right now, but value shaman beats warrior and tempo shaman beats priest, and mage gets flattened by both so here's to more shamanstone

I'm playing a Galakrond Priest with a Psychopomp package with Convincing Infiltrator and Bad Luck Albatross, and it actually doesn't do too badly against Gala Shaman if you play it right.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they nerf Galakrond Shaman by increasing his cost to 9 mana so you can’t double his battle cry. The most oppressive deck ever was classic face hunter after Nax was released and it took a while to nerf that one.
Played shaman last expansion and wanted to try something new but well since i got all cards for galakrond shaman through packs, well i guess i kick some ass till its nerfed :D

I dont have Veranus and Dragonbane. I think Dragonbane isnt necessarry,and i dont know about Veranus. Some advice please? Is him good? I want to replace him with faceless corruptor.

So basically, aggro and tempo decks galore. Not what I like to see as a control/combo player, but then again, I understand that they aren't exactly the most prevalent archetypes at the beginning of any given expansion. Hope to see some hard control or combo decks strong enough to be competitively viable emerge later on.
Your hsreplay tier list changed from the start of the video, to before you started talking about pirate warrior, as the 2nd deck you talked about... hmm.. did you click into a different bracket? Or is the information actually changing that dramatically, that quickly..?

Man i hate to say it because I was really excited for the expansion, but so far I have only played like 10 games all on the first day and I immediately hated it. Didn’t even lose a lot either, it was just that I won with the decks I don’t like and lost with the ones I do. And galakrond shaman is pure fucking cancer.
Even if the meta is not in my favour I will still play handlock and dragon druid because there extremely fun
DonFreeq Dexter had an amazing embiggen druid deck which looks like a ton of fun. Handlock just needs alot of healing and it will work well especially with the two new legendaries
DonFreeq If you have a decent decklist for embiggen druid could you share it with me. I have a full dragon druid rn but embiggen druid seems like a lot of fun. Handlock I have a decklist that manages really well but sucks against pirate warrior, handlocks value is absurd though with the latest dragon legendary and the increase maximum hand size to 12. I don't wanna play the elemental mage because it seems very spammy which I dislike but it seems like an interesting concept. Really want to try treant druid tho

Yesterday i was playing a meme deck agains a friend.. I tougth about shaman with the battlecry quest and galakrond. It seem fun? I got this new 5\5 legendary that transforms each turn.
Well i was kind of losing the board at turn 5, i had the legendary since opening hand (for the memes) and i was hoping for a dragon for some sinergy and i GOT FREAKING HIGH RICK (or whatever its called!) AND FILL THE BOARD WITH 5\5's. GG boy.. That was super crazy, and its standar.
With the new rouge legendary card I was able to destroy all 4 x 8/8s but the next turn he shudderwalked and it was gg :( I tried to add him after the game to let him know what he was doing is wrong but he never added me back feelsbadman :(
I've gotten 1 legendary so far (f2p) and it's Mindflayer Kaahrj... Gotta love life (:

Funny how I said that Dragon Druid was gonna be an issue before the expansion came out. Apparently not...
It's almost as if they purposely create specific deck types that they want to be super imbalanced.... either that, or they don't play test at all. I wonder if there is some sort of psychological connection between specific decks being overpowered and people spending more money in order to have that power?

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I play Quest Galakrond Shaman, I lost like 8 games in a row, usually against aggro by turn 5-10, or against priest that had 20/20 Amet turn 5. Am I playing badly or do I have bad deck list. :/
