Bob Ross Similar thing happened to me with a white WS6. Bummed but kept looking and finally was able to find my WS6. Had to drive 11hrs to get her and I’ll never sell. Just keep looking. Plenty of them are still out there.

Very nice indeed! However, I should point out that you do not need everything your car has to drift like you do. I see a lot of people wanting to copy another one's build and as a previous owner of 3 f-bodies, they are quite drift-able bone stock. I think simple mods like suspension and chassis upgrades will get you into the sport. That Moser 12 bolt is a pricey piece but oh so very strong! Appreciate you taking the time to share your build and how it all works together. For anyone reading this, if you own one, get out and practice. You don't need to buy anything to start... well, except for tires. You gonna need a LOT of those! :)

Hahah pretty much it 😂 ..I knew your car was pretty Extensive on some of these parts an mods to get it to perform like that I have a stock Pontiac GTO 50k miles its an automatic but can it be Built similar? and would that wheel and tire setup fit if I put aftermarket suspension on it?
RTLsuperbike 458 Not extremely knowledgeable on GTO’s, but I know there are a lot of people out there who drift them!
GTOs are IRS so you already have a leg up suspension wise. Just find a way to control wheel hop, stiffen the suspension a bit and if you want to drift, get an angle kit. From there it's just power and supporting mods.
I own a built 2002 Collector Edition Trans Am WS6 manual and my wife owns a stock 30th Anniversary Trans Am WS6 auto. Love the Maple Red Metallic and the fact that you drift it. Hoping you come to LS Fest East at Beech Bend in Bowling Green KY some day.

LS Fest allows any LS powered vehicle but not the older Lt1 stuff. They do allow the current generation LT V8 powered vehicles.

Absolutely love your car! I have a 2001 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 I had since I’m 21, I’m now 37. I have changed many parts on mine, some which I’ve upgraded. I will never sell my car. Thanks for sharing! the Ricey wheels being a color that hides the design and with different color lips is the only thing id have changed....The 98+ WS6 package consists of Larger front swaybar(32mm) higher rate springs, different valved shocks (but still Decarbons) little bit better exhaust (it was a Single 3.5" outlet for `98 only, went to duals 99-02 but same sound tbh) 17" Wheels w/ 275/40/17 Tires, stiffer tranny mount/panhard bushings, Ram Air Hood and Raised Airbox. Plus color changes
a little bit of Chinese for me here and there since I've never modified a car in my life and still hoping to swipe my 3,8l firebird with an LS1 this year, great to know of u man. stay safe
It’s really not that hard. I’m swapping an LS3 into a V6 Camaro doing it super budget. People part out LS1 parts like K members all the time or go full send like Kenny. These F Body’s deserve a V8

Ws6 or ss steering rack has slightly faster ratio. A quarter of a turn less from stops from what I have read in several different articles.

My ws6 has a power steering cooler that connects connects to rad hose from factory. It seems to do a good job.

What kind of sparkplugs are you running

Interesting, I was looking into oil coolers today for my Camaro because I'd like to do some track days with it. It was nice seeing your oil cooler setup.
Why only fun colder plugs in the back 2 cylinders if never heard that before

Nice ride, so cool to see an f-body getting down. Also you might look into a quick drain for your engine oil, I got one from fujimoto. Never have to take the drain plug out again 👌

How did you align your uppers and lowers? I have the same setup in mine minus the roto-joint.
What adapter hole did you use for the rear lca mount where the roto-joint is?

Wait with all those mods your only making 500hp I mean I know its N/A but why didn't you just throw a cam and a single turbo and hit 500hp that way was there a reason you did a built af engine for only 500hp instead of a turbo/cam build for the same amount of power?
reptile crazy gamer I bought the car originally for the engine, which I was going to put into a different chassis for drifting, but I decided to keep the car. Motor was fully built/forged for either turbo or supercharger

Not that you necessarily care about more power, but you’d be shocked how much power you gain if you get the 3” pipes on the Y merging into a 4” cutout. Especially with a motor that size. Two 3” pipes merging into a single 3” pipe is a huge restriction and causes a lot of the drone and kackling these cars are known for. Flowmaster Y300400. That is one nice and clean TA!

One more question you have my dream motor..but if I could ask why didn't you go with a little bigger head with all those cubes??did somebody recommend the 215's..I would think you could ran like 225 or 230 cc port volume..but hey maybe I'm wrong..don't LS3 come stock with square port at 250cc.??

Very pretty.. But with all the mods you have done, its not surprising you actually aren't using the stock D/S. They came w Three Rivers 3" aluminum driveshafts, so that's either an earlier 4th gen d/s or if it measures a full 3" its got to be some aftermarket one, likely made by a local shop if you havent seen any Branding from a larger company (DSS/etc).

I really enjoyed your video I love those cars, I had one, but I just want to be clear about something. In the beginning when you were describing the difference between your Trans Am and a WS6 Trans Am you left out the most important thing that's different about a WS6 and a regular Trans Am and that's the steering and suspension components, they are much beefier and aggressive. As a matter of fact if you would have ordered a brand new Trans-Am from the dealership and asked for only a WS6 suspension to be added the factory would have given that Trans Am a WS6 VIN number. No other WS6 component would have required that to be done. This also goes for 5.7 L formulas as well. But nevertheless you have a great car man.
For your Delrin Bushings what size did you get and how hard was the install?
