This looks very interesting, I have just purchased the HMS Hood kit and the upgrades you used, hopefully I can watch this series of films to help me with my build. Thank you.
Thanks for this, have this in my kit stash and a flip of the coin between this and the tirpitz next. Very interested to see how the flyhawk set works out. Will follow with interest!
@@DavidsShips Just attaching styrene tabs on the upper and lower parts - on the inside of course - to help line them up. It’s a bit hard to describe. Looks like a right pain to line them up properly for glueing.
I see what you mean. The hull forms have a lip that helps to align them. The problem with large parts like these is that small errors compound and they often don't fit well.
This channel deserves way more viewers and subscribers. Please keep up producing such the excellent content.

I’m no expert and I’ve never seen this kit but wouldn’t it have been helpful to use styrene strips to help locate the parts more accurately?
I am not sure what you mean by that?

@@DavidsShips Okay, thanks. I’ve enjoyed the series.
Did you have a picnic on the beach?
No, but I bought more parts from Micro Master.
