2023 White House Tribal Nations Summit Session One

The White House and members of the Biden-Harris administration will host the first day of the 2023 Tribal Nations Summit. The summit - which is chaired by U.S. Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland, Senior Advisor and Assistant to the President and Director of the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs Tom Perez, and White House Domestic Policy Advisor Neera Tanden - provides an opportunity for Administration and Tribal leaders from the 574 federally recognized Tribes to meaningfully engage about ways the federal government can invest in and strengthen Native communities, as well as ensure that progress in Indian Country endures for years to come.

This is wonderful news and I'm thankful for Sect. Haaland and the foot print that she is placing on this earth for Native peoples. She is my hero. We need to protect that fishing of Alaska from the greedy people that are taking the livelihoods of Native fisherman. Soveriegnty of our Native people is at risk. Sect. Haaland please talk to Native Fisherman rather than the Fish and Game that is run by white men who are doing what they need for themselves and not the ones that are living in villages and fishing is their lives.

Who do you belief speaks for all of Indian Country? I watched the entire 3 hour long video and am very impressed with those Indian Country individuals who participated.

the native, the indigenous people of Palestine, the palestinians are seeking the help and support of Tribal Nations who suffered what the Palestinians are suffering now , genocide and ethnic cleansing form the settler colonial state of Israel, Palestinians suffered occupation and apartheid for last 75 years , the indigenous people around the world who shared the same suffer in the past need to stand with the native people of Palestine against the ongoing genocide baked by US Government
