I don’t know why there is complacency and dishonesty regarding neglected animals like this. I don’t even like to kill spiders in my house, and will endure the anxiety and discomfort of transporting them outside without hurting them because they’re obviously intelligent. Aren’t the city and zoo authorities burdened by guilt while they ignore these neglected animals? Boredom and lack of stimulation is literal torture. My heart breaks. You are doing such important and difficult work. Thank you.
