I like post millennium the most. I don't like the "peep" kicks and also "saw" kicks because there is nearly no punch anymore and the peak frequency is distorted to screech.
kicks need transients. without a proper pulse like today you can hit the crowd with a standing bass wave and they still party to it. I don't get it. Maybe I'm just old (31)...
Nice :-). Nice :-). I started in the early 90s and was in elementary school back in 1993 when I got hooked on hardcore/gabber... I was the only one who heard it back then when others were listening to this pop music and then I was the king been. Put on my training jacket and pants, put the cassette in the deck, put on thick headphones and off we went to school. Even today, I remain loyal to the music, even when things get a little tougher, I turn the speakers up to the maximum and cruise around with the window open
Thank you so much for your content! I hear Hardcore since 1995 (mainly Thunderdome) which changed to MOH later. When I was younger, the clubs in Germany played Hardcore and there were a good amount of events. The last years/ decade I had to go to the Netherlands for the big events, but itˋs ok to do it once or twice a year. I appreciate the tolerance of the movement, no one judges you. I am a 47 year old female lawyer from Germany, but I join the MOH events in SˋHertogenbosch in spring, I can just be myself and have fun und get exhausted by dancing to this insane fast music. I had no clue about the different subgenres, just categorised it for me in too fast to dance/ nice loud hard bass/ now this just sounds destructive. A few days ago I stumbled about the mention of Uptempo in the commentary section of the MOH channel and wondered what they were talking about 😄 Now I know 💡
❤❤❤ thank you it is much easier that you explain it to yourself rather than leaving it up to writing I could just focus on learning what you have to say rather than stressing about trying to be able to read
the 190 bpm main hardcore part at 6:05 ish sounds like its straight out of Hysta's playbook ^^ I really appreciate that normal hardcore almost caugh up to 2000 bpm now, since im a terror/uptempo enjoyer 😁
before music was like a movie where sounds made it like a trip and you can feel it in your mind and body, but now days music its so simple with no actual feelings just a clap zhat boom griiizh griizh jezjezjexjezzezezez there is so many good songs in 90's to 2010 what mixing peoples would do miracles.
@@Mindprinter O----my----freaking-@$$... Had heard that track before, but never to the last part 😅!!!? And not that loud 😱😱😱😱!!!! I could loop it 🤩🤩🤩🤩 !!!!
The current sound's just a bunch of earpiercing kicks driven into your eardrums by some overhyped soulless generic melodies. Honestly, this genre is fit only for the simple-minded tik tok crowd, and I really wish event organizers would stop lumping it together with early and millenium.

I agree -- I find it hard to consider it a kick at all.

Absolutely
the needle in the ear is pitchperfect, man those older uptempo showcased gives me so much energy but the newer ones blegh
Die Animation mit der Nadel im Ohr 🤣
Göttlich^^
Das beschreibt es einfach perfekt...

Very Interrsting dude. I used to enjoy uptempo before it was called that. I used to call it no nonsense hardcore 😂
Peepkick and distortions 😬. I already have tinnitus.
I like old skool. Not to fast but loud heavy bass.
Amen!

Quality content! Loved the video. I like piep kicks but I prefer dirty/screechy kicks like Cryogenic makes them
I like these vids, thanks great job.

another sound implemented was the 'kloenk'. a good example is XTINCTION by aversion and dual damage.

Yes man, you described it perfectly.
5:17 track name please!
😍😍 so interesting! Cool Video
what was the track of the festival in the late 2010's?
geiles video
👏👏👏
Post Millenium is best imo.
Modern Uptempo is less melodic and more ear destroying, which I am not really fan of.
I learned a few months ago that it's pronounced "Gabba" not "Gabber". I've been listening to the genre since 2005
Only in uk. In Netherlands it’s Gabber and with the the hard “G” sound from the throat.
I like this new generation of music (c)
Track id at 5.21 😱😱😱😱😱?! Anthem 😍😍😍😍?

Uptempo was fine up till NSD. After that just sounds too simple like meth
das doch nh deutscher der da spricht, safe
uptempo is not the tempo
