@@Nomad4182 hi there. How's Auston doing these days? Seriously -my colors don't run, but I'm a hockey fan. What's up with our Arizona boy, Matthews? What's ailing him? Was he your best choice for captain?
Bruins win with two previous shutouts then lose a shutout game…Bruins rebuild continues. A project in motion as patience with transition is required…Bruins will come around and adapt to the change. Bottom line Bruins play Bruins Hockey with wins and losses handled accordingly. Remember 65/12/5…a franchise standard of excellence hopefully attained once again in measured time. Go Bruins Go!
Yeah but look who they shut out. Two crappy teams. And then look what happens when they play a much better team. They get shut out like they did by the Maple Leafs (who aren't even that great) or they get totally murdered by the Hurricanes 8 - 2. Bruins are garbage this season. Bruins will never get a cup under Montgomery. Said that the moment they hired him. And swayman wanting top dollar like he's a top goalie is hilarious. See how well that's working for them. Been pulled from the net twice already. Probably not a great idea to offer a player 64 million who hasn't even had a solo season!!
@ Bruins are definitely a work in progress and we probably will take our lumps this season. Nonetheless I’ve been rewarded with great Bruins Hockey through the decades. For that I will acknowledge this forgone conclusion that Bruins are a bust this season. Again for loyal Bruins fans this is uncharted waters of possible decline and followed by a resurgence. As Bruins organization this situation spells out a challenge for change which will be navigated successfully. Looking very much forward to their return…Go Bruins!
@@andygrenn680Well said. And we've been in rebuild since Chara left. A team going through rebuild usually doesn't set regular season records nor make it to playoffs. Linus landing in our laps was pure dumb luck coming out of the buffalo fire sale. That delayed the normal rebuild roller coaster. And frankly, we did not deserve the standing we got last season - it would have blown my mind that a team with 15 overtime loser points wins a Stanley Cup! FIFTEEN! Don't get me wrong, the coach isn't the entire problem but he's definitely a big part of it. He's a horrible coach. Even two seasons ago when they had the best regular season record, dude had an All-Star team and still lost. If he couldn't win with that team then he damn sure isn't going to do much last season or this season when they have less skilled players that were replaced by a bunch of big dudes that like spending time in the Box. And I mean the goalie that they have just isn't worth 64 million. Dude has already been pulled from two games, out of 10!! Bruins are not going to see the playoffs this season unless they're buying tickets lol. Got rid of too many good players, kept a shit coach and goalie.
Agreed. How is a coach supposed to function when his top stars are not producing? Pasta, Elias... On any line? Put through any blender? (Some of us actually read the player safety reports, not the clickbait. ) I have been regularly pointing out Jeremy's coddled play & schedule for the past three seasons. Yet fans didn't notice that Mark Stone nor Jack Eichel made that trip So it wasn't Vegas! But his record says he beat Vegas Isn't that clever? That's just one example of many. And the reason why players like Carlo and hampus are interfering with his ability to save pucks? Is because they have to play tighter in on Jeremy - he still does not control rebounds. He's getting better. But doesn't have control like Linus, Tuuka where he can flick out rebounds directly to his defensemen to start quick breakaways Jeremy does not have the strength nor know how to get the puck up through the neutral zone, you the boards to create breakaway situations, as Linus did Lyness has three assists on goals, he should have had more from the silver platter breakaway opportunities he handed Marchand,Freddy, Jake last season... They blew those breakaway chances Linus handed them. The lack of scoring also comes from our goalie.. He's not helping the forward lines and the team has to play back on their heels, tight in the net When Jeremy is playing. Last game korpisalo played, even the sports commentators pointed out that the defense was giving Joonas room to work and track the puck. They have to play tighter into Jeremy and their tripping all over each other like the keystone cops. Watch the different style defense between the two goalies.
