I love your rosettes Jill. They’re just adorable. I love using book paper too especially on vintage projects. (I also love to read and always have a book going). I stopped at a yard sale a couple of weeks ago and she had several boxes of FREE OLD books. I took several hard bound children’s classics. One of them the copyright is 1925 and that was the year my mom was born so I liked that. The pages in them are in excellent condition other than the pages are really yellowed. They also have pictures in them which you can tell is very old drawings. What a score right?
Hello Lisa, oh my goodness so fun to find beautiful classics. 📚 I found a beautiful vintage hardback copy of Little Women in a Little Free Library not long ago. It has beautiful illustrations. Such treasures! I miss the days when books were released this way!
Your rosettes turned out so adorable! The book paper is a great idea to use in your project. I have trouble making rosettes. They never come out right. The pipe cleaners gives them a vintage look. Looking forward to the flash sale with MCT. Hope you are feeling better and your Mom is ok. Take care.
Hello Mary, Bless you my dear. I had so much fun with these rosettes. So fun to make! The key is to fold them slowly and evenly I think. Scoring the foods really helps. I always do them in stages. Hugs my dear!
Super cute! Especially using the book pages! I have been making some Christmas tags, and now I'm getting ready to do some Halloween cards using MCT little ghosts! Have a great weekend! Crafty Hugs! ❤ Suzy
