    -------
    Nzube Udezue-better known simply as Zuby-is a rapper, podcaster, and author known for an engaging mix of personal uplift and political provocation that led to a highly publicized (if temporary) suspension from Twitter in 2020.
    Born in England to parents of Nigerian descent and raised in Saudi Arabia, he now spends much of his time in the United States, where he criticizes identity politics on shows like The Joe Rogan Experience. He has built a massive following on social media and has just published a children's book designed to showcase the benefits of good nutrition and self-control.
    Earlier this year, Zuby spoke at a Mises Caucus event at the Libertarian Party convention in Reno, Nevada, where he said he was overjoyed to be "talking about freedom, liberty, and all of that good stuff."
    Reason caught up with Zuby at FreedomFest, the July meeting of Libertarians held annually in Las Vegas, where we discussed his experience of the pandemic in eight different countries, his defense of tweets mocking transgender athletes (and his support of rights for trans people), and why he's bullish on the future of individual responsibility and freedom.

    I can always spot the college educated Liberal in a crowd who hasn't traveled outside the US, they are the one berating everyone about how bad the US is. They might have (probably did) do a tour of the hostels in other countries (just to be able to check the box) but only talked with other hostel dwellers and only visited the brochure tourist sights. In other words, their feet never actually touched the ground in that other country and they learned nothing. I barely graduated high school but I worked in post Soviet Russia and read a TON. I know how good we and I have it here in the US, even with all it's faults and problems, it's still without parallel.

Protect from our racist and sexist country......those immigrants would say "???? I love America and i immigrated here to become american.....NOT lose my heritage but moved here cause.i like the amerifan values..."

      It isnt necessarily liberals neither. I remember as a kid saying how I plan to move back to Europe because murrica is turning to shit. I started visiting Europe and while nice to visit. No way would I move there. It is a general ignorance of people who don't know better. It just at this time the american liberals are the biggest voices complaining about how bad America is right now. Why did the left become unhinged when gay marriage gained widespread acceptance? Because whenever you advocate for something, the worst thing that can happen is that people actually start to agree with you. Now there are just two choices: Fold up your tent and call it a day, or keep moving the goalposts and make increasingly outlandish demands. There's money in advocacy.

    When someone says, we should protect our freedoms. It doesn’t mean I’m some far right conservative nut job. Unfortunately in todays political climate the word freedom is aligned with being conservative. I’m neither left or right. Our freedoms are being taken away by both parties in power, while they both point the finger at each other, It’s sad.

      But freedom means different things to different people. On a human level, freedom to call someone a derogatory term is a problem. You're going to have to come up with a better word that freedom or make a stronger definition

      @@scientifico these ‘but but the corporations …profit’ are transparent euphemisms for eliminating freedom.
      Everyone has known for a centuries now that my freedom ends when it bumps into yours. You can’t dump your trash into my yard (or my air water etc). Applies to everyone. Fight for stopping transgressions on your freedom and I join you. So when you start adding in irrelevant notions about ‘profits’ or ‘corporations’ or ‘derogatory’ words, you’re not talking about your freedom at all, but about your resentment, like every other wanna be tyrant forever. Sorry, you’re the problem.

      He has no idea what conservatives believe. We are not for no immigration, we are for legal immigration. Meanwhile, the border is open and we have enough Fentanyl coming over the boarder in the last year and a half to literally kill every person in American. We have 100s of thousands of SLAVES being human trafficked. We are being warned that for the first time in about two decades we are Amin danger of another attack like 9-11. Do you know how many conservatives are LEGAL immigrants, minorities, mixed marriages, etc. It is America that is beginning to balk against traditional values. If he was right we’d have less Hispanics voting Republican, yet we are seeing just the opposite. They say these things “conservatives don’t like different” with no basis of truth. Zuby wasn’t having it though. Why would Zuby a “black immigrant” be conservative if he thought conservatives hated “others.” If you disagree with a “progressive” there must be an evil motivation. It’s exactly the opposite!!!!

    smart guy, i like him but he is wrong on several things. He says the US is not racist because it is diverse, but the US was one of the most diverse places on the earth when it was unarguably racist 50 somewhat years ago, this proves diversity is not evidence of lack of racism. Opportunity for a better life, is not proof of lack of racism, logically this is how... lets say you have a company that has the highest standard of life for its employees and all surrounding companies are abysmal. the good company is run by blonds that allow all blonds to work but only allows 4 out of every 5 brunets to work there. all other companies discriminate ever more against brunets. because this company has the best standard of living and best standard of discrimination compared to all other companies does not mean that it is not discriminating against brunets,This is why his logic is wrong. To say the US has no racist laws so its not racist is foolish as well, here is why. what he meant to say is that it has no overtly racist wording in federal law anymore. That doesnt mean institutional racism doesnt exist. Sentencing laws for the same crimes were found to be disproportionate, redlining( negative ability to buy property in certain areas)went on and still goes on, devaluing of property due to race was found by a federal study, stop and frisk laws, etc. All of these things have gone on and some still do after the last civil rights legislation, not 100 years ago but in my life time, your life time . The last racial civil rights legislation happened only 55 years ago, my mother is in her late sixties, my elders are in their 80's and 90's, the people that know what the US is are still here and alive and the overwhelming majority of us by every study metric and poll say its racist country.

    @ 17:20 -- I agree, the terms Left and Right are useless. Just because someone dyes their hair and calls themselves a feminist, doesn't make them "Left." (I know that's a radical idea, but you have to LISTEN to what people are advocating for.) Today, you can often see groups that would be characterized as Left, advocating fascism. The Democratic party would be a far Right party in any country outside the US. Bernie is a conservative centrist in any other country. We need to call things for what they are: they're not Left. They're fascist.

    • @51MontyPython
      @51MontyPython 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Fascism actually _IS_ left. You have bought into the lie that it is "right wing." It is ANTI-liberty. That's what "left" is. But you're right, the people claiming to be "antifascist" actually _ARE_ fascists. That's the Orwellian doublespeak.

    • @pitchforkparty
      @pitchforkparty 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@51MontyPython A lot of money was spent on propagandizing Americans to believe that unaccountable wealth and power is good for the country. Even tho what it resulted in, was both major parties being totally bought by said unaccountable wealth and power. To get YOU to buy into this, they have to get you to believe that anything that challenges their control is "fascism." You're literally being ruled by a small group of people who don't believe in democracy, and limit your ability to exercise it. Maybe you need to reread Orwell.

Giving up their faculties to trust in a system. And if something goes wrong, it should have been prevented by the system, rather than expecting an individual to be responsible for themselves.
      I believe society would be better off without OSHA.

    lol this interviewer said conservatives "don't like difference" because we want to limit immigration for a while. How unbelievably disingenuous and/or ignorant. There are limits to everything, and any culture would be against flooding themselves with extremely different cultures with zero restrictions. That's plainly obvious. It's natural to not want that. We don't "not like difference" just because we care about our culture enough to want it to maintain some semblance of its character in the long run. And that's not to mention the economic aspect of this issue, which is entirely justified in and of itself! His characterization is "unhinged," not us. In fact, by his definition, the whole world is "unhinged" because people care about their cultures. So absurd.

    I agree somebody out there thinks like this and lot of people are addicted to the money and the power that comes to using activism to get money but the dirtier side of this these are terminologies and ideology that's used by Marxism and this has been going on since the 1930s maybe even a little before this but the Democrats have a history of thinking outside the box which led to a civil war which led to other confrontation even afterward and they started pushing a lot of marxist ideology but subtlety so it was just considered socialism then during 1945 up to 1960s 15 years of progression until they became civil rights activist and a lot of the clan that they legally protected and financially supported because it was their creation and their terrorist Network that they've used for over 100 years now they've learned the power of activism and they can also put them under multiple different slogans or at least slogans that represent a fight and these slogans can be weaponized antifa has been around in this country and showed his ugly face in 1960s the year of the Democrats became civil rights activist and the antifa group are just communist that started in Nazi Germany when they were communist and fascist fighting for position of power in Germany but the Communist went up to Russia and did the movement there. What I have realized that people have no clue of history or ideology which patterns will point out a movement most people run on emotions and emotions will push you and all Direction like a Ouija board people can sit there and direct where this Ouija board goes by going with the flow of everyone else hands that are on the board and then make Believers out of them through emotions it's the slide of hand it's using expressions and weaponizing terminology and changing definitions. But yes they'll be people in the group that truly believe they are making a push for equality and these people run on emotions and these people also when they make changes they move on to the next not worrying if what they just did made any different or made it worse there's money there's also acceptance amongst your peers and you get to feel as if you're important even if you're nothing more than an agitator or someone who's making it worse because you have no clue about for an instant climate change you have no understanding of science to how this works or that we've had a couple other ice ages which shows that the plant is always in a constant heating or getting colder and that takes thousands of years or these people have no clue about what it takes to create a electrical vehicle all the Cobalt strip mining or that to recharge the vehicle takes a huge amount of electricity that is actually produced by coal or natural gas which shows you these people have never thought ahead there are more based on emotions and they are ran by corporations which is the mainstream media their colleges that and doctrinate Marx's ideology and dismisses critical thinking and pushes critical race Theory which is a racist ideology with gender ideology either way they are set up to destroy infrastructures of government even Stalin said that you would have to go after the Americans patriotism religion and culture if we ever want Marxism to work in America and it will take stages because of the complexity of our own ideology like a virus and infected as long ago through refugees and through the bitter and vindictive Democrats I lost a civil war only 40 so years at the end of World War I where they have adopted socialism as well which is the core ideology of Communism and fascism which is what we're seeing unfolding here today with their followers of all different from extreme communist to scared cowards mental anguish people or pedophiles looking for a way to push their own agenda which they have with the lgbq group that have stood up for their own push and these ideology and they're not shy about it for those who pay attention they even made a song about going after people's kids and eight of the guys in that huge group of people were actual registered child rapists so this is a big group of angry scared people who are perceptible to influence especially from Corporation with multimedia and the Democrats legal influence and inflammatory speech.

    Some of these folx (celebrities??) sound so righteous and I'm all for that when they REALLY are as OPEN MINDED AS THEY THINK they are. What I find is that most totally avoid conversations regarding the SYSTEMS, INDOCTRINATIONs, and how people have been torn from THEIR ORIGINAL CULTURAL NORMS and FORCED TO ASSIMILATE. These convos seem more like a predetermined path to establish his celebrity and therefore his position as an INFLUENCER
