This hand washing station will come in real handy at the open house. Everyone can get their hands as dirty as possible (while processing firewood of course) and see how well it works. 🙌

Great idea Holly and good for you and your business. Had you guys considered selling to cities and having permanent Quad Sinks that the general public can use? And imagine in todays world with the dirt and filth of people who cant bathe. One other thing is to make the permanent type so you can wash them with a hose and spraying them down. Having a clean sink might promote others to use them more often.
Does your business need an engineer. I am presently out of work and would love to help your business grow.

I worked in logging when I was younger with my father also we had are logging business we had three skidders three log trucks one Dozer and one Dozer with forks on it instead of a blade and a bomb loader believe me it was hard work.i love your story about you and your father

Holly I am of the opinion that every cotton candy operator should have a quad sink also!. Love hearing of your products and knowing that you are continuing the family business is awesome. Unfortunately our family business was sold and sadly the big corporations made it no longer a business that cared about employees or customers. Only the bottom line mattered!

The quad sink needs a water hook-up or are there self-contained fresh and gray water tanks? Power seems to be easier (generator) to make this unit portable than if you needed an area with waterlines? Just asking as an engineer who likes to know how things work.

How many full cord a year do you process?
Kinda difficult and confusing answer awaits here Jon I process every single log I get delivered. Last year I had just about 10 trucks that delivered logs. I made about 60-70 total cords with the 405/ The other 80 cords was produced by the three services that I have agreements with. I can certainly make A LOT more firewood with the 405 but supply is a problem for me and last year was certainly a tough year for the firewood market

I starting out and wood supply actually isn’t an issue with me. Just the opposite really.
It’s trying to figure out my workflow and growth schedule and how to create the sales to justify the expansion.
This is supposed to be a retirement income supplement, not a full time business…
One part of my business plan is also the disposal of any processing equipment.
So figuring that out too.

Most of the "county fairs" I have attended have the cleanliness of "pig styies". Oink Oink.
Sometimes, one is better off "not using" the filthy sinks found in these places for washing your hands!
But, given the corona virus, I would gladly use the "quad sink".
Well, the research that went into the need was overwhelmingly yes - It is a cultural change that starts with awareness, education and convenience. We wanted to make a product that fit the need and looks attractive so venues would be proud to have them in their facility for the public.
Im happy to have found this giant family of wood hounds and their channels. All I did was look for the best ways to cut, split and stack then sell and Im very fortunate that OWB was one of the first videos that popped up. Good luck with the open house. Thanks , Joe. 🪓🪵
