This song helped me through a hard time, when i was young and didn't understand the feeling of love. Because of the person I've felt feeling for, I avoided them like the plague. Because at that point in time I was in a dark stage of my life where I didn't think life was worth living for, and afraid to get attached. After a year and just a month before the day I planned on, I came across this song. It made me cry a lot, and before I knew it, after consideration and talking to this person, they ended up loving me the way i love them. Edit : An year later. What do you think has happened by now ? If it were some reddit story, I'd presently be in the company of aliens or maybe I'd have found out I'm the heir to the royal family of Cronia but this life. I was thrown into this storm where I could just choose to get swirled into its vortex. But somewhere in between I saw light that penetrated through the raging waters, which gave me warmth and hope for some way to escape. And I chose to live a life. I foresaw flashes of what was yet to come. I saw myself graduating and going to college and finding people who cherish and love the person I am. I saw grown up me holding my little boy's hand to school and watching him grow up. I saw myself getting older and wiser and happier as the years passed by, making memories that last with people who last.
That was enough for me to try and push the waters behind and try to swim. For someone who's never seen a swimming pool, I did pretty good. I came out of the storm and saw the sun setting with hues of red and orange and pink on the horizon. I thanked the light because if it were not there, I'd have fallen deep into the darkness of the abyss that I stumbled into and miss all the beauty that lay before me now.

I know this is an old post. If your mother doesn't want you to be loved by someone then she is the one that needs to go. My mother offers her opinion, then supports my decisions even when she sees the fault in them. We all have to make our own mistakes. Your mother has no right to tell you how you feel about someone else. I have three daughters and I would obviously state my opinion, but never assume that they don't love someone enough to give it a good try. Warning someone is different than controlling their actions. I know this is late but I feel you. Like you there's this one guy I always talking to. I know this is crazy but little by little my feelings for him became deeper - I started to like him. In front of him I have to act like we're okay as friends but damn I can't hide it anymore. Sometimes I get jealous when I saw him smiling in his phone because I know he's talking to someone.
