    Excellent video Carl. Now that I’m in a cross platform environment with work, I’ve needed to move beyond Things on Mac. The recent trial of ToDoist has been good since their recent update ha incorporated many of the elegant parts of Things 3. All that was lacking was to see some philosophy of how others are using which you and Francesco are doing. Looking forward to seeing more in your course. Have a great day and thanks for providing such good value.

    How do you set the starting date? Tickler or creating the starting task and followed by the next tasks in the project? Do you use Todoist for project management, such as asana? What differentiates in your case todoist and asana?

    • @Carl_Pullein
      @Carl_Pullein  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't use starting dates. I occasionally use a reminder task, but that would be rare. And Asana is used only as a kanban board to see the progress of my content each week.

    Are uncompleted tasks automatically forwarded to the next day?

    • @Carl_Pullein
      @Carl_Pullein  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No. You need to make a decision about when you will do the uncompleted task.

    Do you still use Todoist for keeping track of your goals? I remember seeing that you had a separate GOALS project/section a while back. Or do you place them within your Areas of Focus and Areas of Mastery for each of those individual areas? Thanks for sharing Carl.

      My goal tasks have been absorbed into my areas of focus and areas of mastery. The outcomes and why's are not in my notes app. That's because I can better add links, images and so much more there.

    Your videos are helpful Carl but you take to the 2 minute mark on every video to get started. Ain't go no time for that!

      It is intentional, Dean. I've been teaching for nearly twenty years now and I know how important it is to set context. Understanding that not everyone is starting from the same level of understanding as I do (and yourself) is a key to great teaching.

      @@Carl_Pullein All good Carl. You're an excellent teacher. FYI - I'm just about to pull the trigger on one of your course bundles. Looking forward to digging into the content. Thank you!

    Hi Carl! Thank you for such great video 👍 Just two questions: do you have any limit of active projects?
    The second question is if the task needs just several actions, do you create a project of work with it as a recurring task? Thank you in advance!

    • @Carl_Pullein
      @Carl_Pullein  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Roman, I used to limit active projects to three, but these days I am less strict on that. And I don't set recurring tasks in that way. I would just redate the the original task and move on.
