@@lgs4692 No tears here, kid. We've dominated you for the best part of a decade, now you come on here crying because your beloved Stevie G is off 🤣🤣🤣 cry more.
@@cj1710 You bottled the 9.75 in a row, "dominated" the last 10 years when Rangers we're away & you faced the worst Rangers team ever. In regards to Stevie G, i'm no worried we're still going to win the league Celtic are still 2 years behind Rangers
the moment Mcstay missed that penalty was the exact moment that I became a celtic fan. I remember ma gran watching it and I didn't give a fuck about football. and she was so anxious and excited about it that I got all involved in it for fun. I was just a wee guy. seeing the adults get all agitated. And then when Mcstay missed it seemed so brutal and so intense. watching faith rovers celebrate and ma gran gutted. And after that I was like 'whens the next game????' I wanted to see it avenged. I often think if Mcstay hadn't have missed that penalty I'd probably not be a celtic fan. So thanks Mcstay if you hadn't of missed that penalty, I'd have missed all ma years of supporting the hoops and all the joy and community its brought me!!!
The 1994 final was sponsored by Coca Cola. I always remember after McStay"s penalty miss opposition fans everywhere singing "could you go a Coca Cola Paul McStay" to him and him losing his shit over it on a few occasions 😁😁😁😁😁😁
I remember watching this as a 12 year old Celtic fan on tv back in 1994 and it was a sore one to take, especially when fans’ favourite Paul McStay missed. But he would go on to have his moment later on the season and bury the ghosts, when we beat Airdrie 1-0 in that seasons Scottish cup final. Walk on Paul, and Hail hail. Celtic til I die 🍀
So. Final meant ti be neutral. Millwall v Manchester u final. 50/50 tickets. Like I say scotland is only place where the 2 establishment teams get unfair advantages
I heard about a Celtic fan who committed suicide after this defeat. He was severely depressed anyway, but this seemed to push him over the edge, and he hung himself...
Great memory this - Celtic losing the final. What made it even sweeter was that it happened at Ibrox, and Jimmy Nichol was the manager of Raith.
@Joe McKenzie 0.2 boohoo keyboard warrior. 55 on it`s way. It`s coming home.

They went crazy on the streets of Raith...er, Kirkcaldy.

As a pars fan I was a rovers fan that day.
All football fans were Raith supporters that day...

Andy Walker is still bitter towards Raith to this day 😅😅😅
I’m fae Kirkcaldy
Wit ye want a medal?
Fascinating stuff.
Rebus in the stands
I think I even saw Jackie O. at Jackie O's.
How did Celtic have their support behind each goal? Only in Scotland!
Celtic had 3 stands, Raith had the one on the far side, due to them being able to sell more tickets.
Celtic have a slightly bigger fan base than Raith Rovers 😁

@Chasb001 not raiths fault scotland is full of glory hunters. I'm a Dundonian. I don't take rantic fans from here seriously. All muppets
