You sir, are my definition of genius! Fantastic work and engineering. you really are an inspiration with this and come across as a really nice fella to boot. Well done and I wish you every success you deserve in your work and life.
So, that explains everything, I believe all of asking for the worm gears were mostly looking for the housing you printed!thank you, I think I need to buy a 3d printer, first. I would like to ask you if you faced any problems with the stability/strength of the housing?
Edu... I love your videos man! I'm very much into photography myself... not at this level for sure but dude, this awesome! And to top it all off, you had the courage to do these in english. Good for you my man!!! Thumbs up from Alicante...biker's paradise! PS: you are the first channel Biker's Garage 101 subscribes to!
+Biker's Garage 101 thanks for the suport. It is true that making this channel in english is harder and it may sound terrible for an english speaker, but I want to share it and this is the only way. Thanks for your subscription
youna kim people have a warped perception on genius. Genius is a matter of focus, concentration, determination, and thinking. They pour their life into what they are working on and create something amazing. Anyone can do something considered "genius" but instead opt out for watching useless stuff or consuming knowledge and never actually thinking and learning while solving problems. That's just what I think.
control camera crane is a complete design to animate our puppets or anything you want!! But the hardest system to create this is not for someone with a few things.
Good day could you please provide some more information on the rack and pinion gears you used in this video and possibly where they were purchased? thanks, and love the innovations!!!
Thank you so much for generously sharing your great work! It is really an inspiration. I have watched all your videos many times and have learned a lot from them. If you could, would you please explain in detail the wiring of the Microstep Driver ST-M5045 to the Arduino? (I am trying to wire it and seem to have only one direction working) The detailed video you did on the Pololu A4988 was extremely helpful. Also how do you have the 4 stepper drivers connected to the power supply? Again, great work and thanks for giving your time!
¡Me gusta mucho! Somebody needs to connect this to a HTC Vive or other VR headsets with a live feed and motion tracking! You could really "be" in another location at the exact moment!
For stop motion it is steady, because everything is slow so you don't have strong moves that could make the thing shake. You can go back and forth, provably there is some backlash in some of the axis but nothing too big for us frame by frame.
I'm impressed with your engineering skills. How did you ended up doing animation. Knock to some space agencies doors. We need them crisp photos of space objects. Wish you the best.
all your videos are nice and interesting!!! i would like to know how you make the base that can rotate all the item 360 degrees on the slider. could you please help me? i am working for a school project. thank you!
good works, very cool sir. by the way, are you learn these things (electronics and mechanics parts) in this (or others) video by yourself (autodidact)? or by your educational experiences? if educational experiences, may i know your educational background in short explanation (from the beginning until now)? I'm just curious and want to know, if you don't mind, thank you.
Amazing Video!!! thanks for sharing your work!. One question, where did you buy the gear worms? The one you used for the rotation of the Jib and the ones on the motorized head for the camera. I can't find those kind of gears. Thanks
+Haider Abbas what I do here is very specialized, dificult to teach. If you want to learn about stop motion and a basic approach to motion control, I teach in a Master degree in stop motion in Barcelona. www.baued.es/en/studies/masters-and-postgraduate-degrees/masters-in-stop-motion-animation
hey edu I have a motion head it can make pan and tilt, it has DC motors not step motor today I try to connect to it to dragon frame for it I bought dc motor drivers(L298)but I didnt work. I thing here is the problem dragon frame let me connect with 2 digital output one is direction one is pulse but for dc motor driver has two cable for direction also two cable for speed or I make some mistake I didnt solve it can you help me ?
I use stepper motors nema 23. And yes at some points I have gearboxes, made by myself using a 3d printing machine, bearings and gears to increase the precision.
+Lord Of The Bricks Productions we use diferent lens for each need. Prime lens if possible if not zoom lens. For brick films I would recomend you a Macro lens. Wich brand do you use, the 60 mm canon lens is nice.
Your work on the arduino moco is inspiring Eduard! Im trying to set up my own system and I just wanted to ask you what stepper motor you would suggest for focus. Im thinking nema11 or nema14 with high torgue (1.2-2.5kg.cm) Would that be enough for focusing? Keep it up!!!
Thanks!! that really depends on your lenses, some of them are really loose and some very tight. I would go for the nema 14 to be sure, anyways for a focus I would suggest a gearbox or a good stepper driver to allow you more microstepps. Hope you succeed!!!
No sure what part are you refering to, I would say all what I use here aren't strong for a CNC.

Well, before I upgraded the drivers it was something uncomfortable to work with. Now with the new ones you can see in this video everything is more quiet. Anyway, in stop motion we don't record any audio so, we can use headphones and good music to keep working and have fun at same time!
edu puertas i know you can do it. plus , you made a camera crane and im making one for time lapse videos and photos. every thing that your using is what i need to complete my project. :-D
You sir, are my definition of genius!
Fantastic work and engineering. you really are an inspiration with this and come across as a really nice fella to boot.
Well done and I wish you every success you deserve in your work and life.
Your excitement when your rig's vertical motion worked was priceless. . . moved me.
Great rig, out and out smart guy you are!!
That is because I had to much problems with that axis in the past that it makes me extremly happy to see it work proppertly.
Bro you deserve all the Applause and encouragement
First impression, very friendly and shows passion in his work. That is genius work!!
¡Increíble! I truly admire your smart *and* creative approach to solving problems!
Great setup. Nice to get rid of those whiny stepper drivers. Awesome that you did it yourself.
Using bearings at the base to hold and allow for rotation was genius
Very nice project!
It looks very well designed and build
Cool project! Nice to see you are using 3D printed parts.
Amazing again!very nice crane!we are waiting for your next project!!!
Is it possible to provide us some more information on where you found these worm gears and the housing? I could not find it anywhere!please
The gears are from germany I can't remember the company but search for worm gears. And the housing I drawed it and 3d printed in plastic.
+Jason Karan I founded, it is called maedler
So, that explains everything, I believe all of asking for the worm gears were mostly looking for the housing you printed!thank you, I think I need to buy a 3d printer, first. I would like to ask you if you faced any problems with the stability/strength of the housing?
I wish i could come and hang out with you and work with you on a project! You're doing some amazing work! Thanks for sharing!
Great work!
Bro you're a genius, so much talent!

inspirational...keep the videos flowing
Amazing work edu!
Awesome rig!! What program are you using to control the moco rig? Thanks!!
+Indy Mogul Dragonframe, it is the standard for stopmotion animation, what I use it for.
you should make an episode with him :) , or work with him on a project !
Great video. Thanks for sharing!
you are a genius!
I'm very inspired by watching your videos.
keep going

Cool but it really exceeds my knowledge, jaja
Please do video, how to connect the program to the motor, how to operate a computer!!!
super cool ;D
This is immense. Makes me want to get building. How steady is it? Can you reliably move forward and back through a shot and keep shooting?
For stop motion it is steady, because everything is slow so you don't have strong moves that could make the thing shake. You can go back and forth, provably there is some backlash in some of the axis but nothing too big for us frame by frame.
Perfect, i'm going to have to fire up the Arduino. Also I might be in the market for one of your winders.
Great, see you there!
I'm impressed with your engineering skills. How did you ended up doing animation. Knock to some space agencies doors. We need them crisp photos of space objects. Wish you the best.

Using stepper drivers
amazing, where do you buy all those nice metal gears and aluminium plates?
+ciro gracia all on internet, just searching for worm gears and similar.
Nice
you are very smart man😍😘😘
all your videos are nice and interesting!!!
i would like to know how you make the base that can rotate all the item 360 degrees on the slider.

i am working for a school project.
thank you!
+Giorgo's LAB Greece I don't know how to help you, it is a little of mechanics and time to put all together
Which is stepper motors run program, Dragonframe or mantis or?
It is dragonframe
very cool!

Tremendo Edu!
Hi , is this motion control dose only stop motion or can do live camera shoot with motion control ?
nice job awesome
Which motors are you using and is there a qearbox on the motors?

The most versatile is the 24-105L it is expensive but good glass, if you have a full frame good choice also.
Brother! Thanks for help

Lol sounds like dial up brings back memories haha
You should make business out of this
Is the noise of stepper motors a problem for your job?
Well, before I upgraded the drivers it was something uncomfortable to work with. Now with the new ones you can see in this video everything is more quiet. Anyway, in stop motion we don't record any audio so, we can use headphones and good music to keep working and have fun at same time!
Ok thanks, good idea the linear motion to avoid the vibration
You should move to Hollywood
can you add longer arms to it?
+THE MIKEY MIKE CHANNEL I don't think so
edu puertas
i know you can do it.
plus , you made a camera crane and im making one for time lapse videos and photos. every thing that your using is what i need to complete my project. :-D
where do you get your gears and other parts from?
+sidekick rida from industrial suppliers, normally from germany. Just goegleling
What size is the "threaded rod" ? 16mm or 14mm ?
+Shashi Kiran I think it was 14 mm
Thanks, How do I make a "bolt" with the right 14mm threads ?? do you know.
Well, I bought it but to make a thread you can do it with a lathe or using a threading tap, anyway for a large one it is easy to buy it.
Genius, what software are you controlling? How is Arduino's code written? So amazing.
+Dylan Leung Dragonframe, my last vídeo is about this software. Code comes with this program
