And as for Raghavendra Swami's role, people were hesitant bcoz the saints role had to be played with conviction. They wanted a person who practised celibacy and also eat sattvik food. Vishnuvardhan was pushed to the fore by the resenting group ...They touted and advertised him has the person to fill in Rajkumars shoes and the naive Vishnu got played in their hand and took steps and decisions (Marrying Bharti, forming vishnu sena, working with only Brahmin directors , trying to run the industry through Madras connection, aligning with fallouts of Raj camp,exercing political affiliations (GUNDURAO ) ) which enranged the Dr raj camp and few uneducated fans of Dr Rajkumar.....An illusionary animosity was created by the fringe group on both sides and fanned to the hilt by the fallowers of both the group.......Both Dr Rajkumar and Vishnuvardhan were convinced not to speak on the issue to safeguard their respective interests and the issue was incubated and exploited by both the parties to serve their interest to have a firm grip over the industry.....The incident of shooting made noise in the beginning but was hushed up and was not much in fore till the 1980s ,but became bone of contention in the 80's with the growing popularity of Vishnuvardhan and increasing and unparalleled hold of Parvathamma Rajkumar on the industry proceedings and her perennial perseverance to push her sons to stardom and to have absolutism over sandalwood............Either both Dr Rajkumar and Vishnuvardhan had to be blamed for the scenerio as both of them got played in the hands of fringe group sarroundiing them OR Neither have to be blamed for the scenerio and blame the situation and short coming in their personality traits or hand of God in the unfolding of the tension and fracus between them.....if in case one person has to be blamed then in such case how plenty of industry veterans could enjoy company of both the warring groups ...why people like Ambarish , Anantnag, Director Ravi, Shivarammanna ,Ashwath could be close to both the camps .....why Ambarish who was so influential could not make truce between the parties . We the people need to understand that movies are beyond entertainment and Tallent .....It's purely BUSINESS.....and Business turns the best of the best to Bastards......To sum up both Dr raj kumar and vishnuwardhan were tallented, faced lot of challenges and overcame them in their own ways....but even though both were good human beings there was a sea of difference in terms of how one conducted personally and publically .........and that's the very reason why DR Raj had blessings of people and God and achieved cult status and became cultural representative of KARNATAKA and ultimately became the most phenomenal and influential character/personality of Karnataka of the past century ........
