the best thing about torchlight infinite is that they ACTUALLY, FKING ACTUALLY listen to community with most of the stuff. every. single. time. we never get ignored with important stuff, while other arpgs do their own shit and player driven ideas are maybe like 10% of the changes. the game itself is fun, there is a lot of colors, a lot of speed, a lot of loot, gameplay is smooth like butter, i have like 10k hours in poe, 1k hours in last epoch, 3k hours in diablo and ive never, absolutely never enjoyed any of those games more than torchlight. keep growing guys, keep listening to ur players, keep creating A FUN game, not a competetive proplay racer balance focused shit. love u, please dont ever go in poe/d4/le direction.
Hoping for better market, more free stashes and bouht ones, who are available in all seasson. Increase the number of 9 slots to 15 at least and add more filters and filters that FILTER items without searching for 2137 tabs to find what you need on filtered price when the items above filtered prices should be just hidden.
hope this is good..its the only time i cant wait for new season..since poe delayed and poe last league giga suck..i enjoy play torchlight last season reaching to lvl99 for first time..maybe this season i will try reach lvl100
Question 2 hasn't been completely answered, because there is a damage cap of 500B but some endgame content requires triple or quadruple that to clear so you are chocking build diversity instead of promoting it cause now to clear endgame you chase after big numbers which limits you to just a few meta builds. It would make sense if All CONTENT required less than 500B dps to clear
What content requires that much dps btw ? And is that to insta kill the content or actually have a decent boss fight? I haven't actually attempted super end game furtherest I've gotten is tm8
timemark 8+, deep space, that season event where we have a list of bosses to defeat in the event page, and the first one had a decent boss fight with 10b dps (you still get one shotted by anything), and the second one you dont even move the hp bar with that dps. The bosses that needs entrances in the great void afaik.
IMO, they are just lacking transitional content. I don't think they should lower the scale of the existing bosses, or reduce the damage requirements. I think there should be more bosses/content in between these levels. I think lowering the scale kinda make the game a lot easier than it already is, and compared to the other games of the genre, it's probably already the easiest.
@@ZoryArky yeah so I actually think this is a boss design problem. We're chasing dps because we need to one shot a boss , because the boss has near unavoidable attacks than always one shot us. Instead, imho "Uber" fights should be 5-10 min fights, with perfect skill to pass. But throughout the entire fight there should be maybe 2 or 3 mechanics ( that are repeated ) which can actually one shot.
Why not just allow us to grind for flame tax vouchers, add it into the core drop pool with a low drop chance or even add a specific random chance monster that can spawn within a map that guarantee's a voucher. At the moment I blow through all flame tax vouchers available to me within the first 1 to 2 weeks of a season unless events come out but that offers a very limited amount. I ended this season with over 80k flame elementium I couldn't recover which is absolutely ridiculous and I know people that had well over that.

Wouldn't it be better to add optional auto-aim to PC players with a mouse and keyboard as well, so you are not forced to buy a controller or avoid builds that force you to use the mouse to aim?

FE Inflation? Lol. Hundreds of players have like 100k+ FE trades on auction house. What inflation you are talking about? It doesnt make FE value crash - it makes prices go like in space...
Dear Hunter, That's what we mean by inflation - the value of FE goes down, as such prices go up. Of course it's still an issue even with taxation being implemented, but we found it to be MUCH more severe before we implemented taxation (meaning that prices would skyrocket even more astronomically as FE crashed in value)

Esp if the design philosophy is to have the game be as wide open as possible in regards to builds. Because a lot of the options in the game cannot even come close to that output in order to be able to tackle the content that needs dmg numbers that go past the cap to clear. The game needs a huge tone-down in the numbers side and be rebalanced from the ground up if it wants to match the design philosophy that was stated imo. Especially with how hero traits are concerned which further restrict build choices and synergy That being said, Love the game. Been playing it since the beginning
For Q9: TLI doesn't register any of my(Logitech F310) controllers buttons so I can't use it if I don't buy a new one. Joysticks work though. This has been since Darksurge, possibly longer. I have reported this few times. The controller works just fine with other games but not TLI. For bonus points it work perfectly on 4 different online gamepad tests. So after locking any sort of automation behind worst seasonal mechanic, that makes it hard to get it until quite some time(read at least a week) after season start you suggest "use a controller"? ARE YOU SERIOUS? Fix the damn controller support or give us back Rythm support, Cast on crit, Cast when channeling. Nerf it to the ground for all I care. Just something to use till we can get useful Activation mediums. Or put the worst possible version of Activation mediums on a skill vendor. I mean I love the game and all the updates you make but come on.

I downloaded this game after seeing the update and quit in frustration, Diablo, Epoch, even path of exile has better controller support then his game. this has to be worst arpg yet for controller support. You have to spam A button like 10 times just to do anything, equipping items for example, learning a new talent. You can't scroll down in your inventory with controller, i can't figure it out. You have some actions that you need to press A sometimes you need press in the analog stick i finally figured out, why? Why do i need to use analog stick in some menus to navigate and other menu's i can use normal directional and so on? Seriously this is so frustrating it's unplayable. I guess I am going to shelve this game, it's been out long enough and dev's clearly don't care about us who can't play keyboard and mouse for medical reasons. really unfortunate in a game that would actual play well with a controller.
dont chase the highest numbers, build diversity. also kill a boss that even the game itself tells you you need 978326493276492834u2094 quintillion DPS. the part about dps/dummy doesnt make any sense 🤣

Jungle maps especially are a hassle to run on mobile because you get stuck on random stuff when zooming.
They are not much fun on PC either.

To me TLI is fun until 8-1, after that it gets boring quick. Droprates are so bad in Maps, even i ran with so many hard mods and extra mods.
Crafting should be simple and effective. Pls do not turn this into a crafting game. Love the game.
