    +- 90V is not enough for 2000W! maybe if your speaker less than 2 ohms! but you need a 2X 65V 2X 20A transformer!! and 2X 50000uF capacitor minimum!!! and you have to match that trasistors!!!!!

    I have a Soundcraftsman PM860 professional Mosfet amplifier. It's transformer is gigantic putting out 140V/70+/70-...It weighs 30lbs with 90% of that being the transformer. The heatsink is 1/8" aluminum fingered up with variable fan speed active cooling. [Not that much weight.] It hosts 6 two bolt can style mosfet 's per channel [A+B] for a total of 12 mosfets for the output.
    For the 140V swing [70+/70-] it's output for ONE [each] channel is...@8ohm = 287W / @4ohm = 402W / @2ohm = 450W [Source = Performance sheet that came with the amp]
    While the combined output of both channels is 900W @2ohm's, the 140V swing [70V+/70V-] is only able to drive each output to 450W@2ohm.
    Therefore the amp that is shown with 168V swing [84V+/84V-] could not put out more than 500W per channel into 2ohm for a total of 1000W combined.[not 2000W]
    This is of course if the amp is 2ohm stable, the heatsink can passively dissipate the power, and the transformer can supply the current required.

    let me stop you there even if you add more pairs in class AB doesn't mean that is gonna be stable producing 2KW at 4 ohms plus your transformer look like a simple maybe 600VA just try class H that will surely give you more power

      indeed.. also, his driver is too small and probably not enough to drive the required current for the output stage.. and he also use thin wires for his "2 kW power amplifier".. i agree with you in using a class H topology for power switching..

    if you are a true technician you can understand what he did...it is only subject for testing for a newly built amplifier ...you will use a low power transformer to prevent a big damage in the amplifier in case of failure... i want this project bro...

    how do you know it's 2000 watts. while Vac peax at Voltage only max 63 vac to 88 vdc. before the voltage drops at the PSU. when calculated at 8 ohms it's only 800 watts. then how come it could be 2000 watts from where I'm dizzy seeing this video...

    cable not enough for 2000watt and we need 15 amp plug and transformer is 12 or 24 center tap one which not able to output such power .... not make fool..... we need smps or big transformer ... it full kit weight is about 20 to 30 kg ....

      No, the board is ok but the transformer is a 500w transformer , this amp only hace 500w rms not 2000w

    Muy buen trabajo pero los driver deben de cer ECG2328 Y ECG2329 no Ecg36 y ECG37 por la cantidad de transistores c necesitaría un voltaje simétrico de 95v+ 95- en un transformador 2.5k

    bro, I know you have 15 pairs but with that small transformer that might be 500VA you can not get 2000 watts maybe 400 to almost 500W also is not secure the thin 18 gauge wire can not support that much current just change the title to 500W keep in mine to produce power you will need a monster of power supply minimum of 1500VA toroidal a 2000W power output you can get it from a class D, one more thing having so many pair does not mean that it will deliver more power the design is not gona create power but the power supply does supply the power having more pair does have lower the THD and you can place really low load like 2 ohms load and it will deliver 😊

      I think if the amplification is by current, it will move the speaker the same way even with some power supply voltage drop, just not so much drop to have sound clipping

    more like 500w peak but still not bad. i wanted to give you some respect when i saw the clamp meter but then you didnt clamp it!!! cmon now. you could have at least tried to fool people by clamping power consumption and claiming it is the output or something...

      In a one word, YES. With 5 of each transistor and + and - 56VDC you can get 500 Watts. If you increase the transistors to 10 of each you can get 1000 Watts and + and - 72VDC. If you use 20 of each transistor and 87VDC you can get 2000 Watts. However it also depends on impedance of the speaker systems, which we do not know.
