Steve Byrnes was a TRUE one of a kind man! I truly hate that he is no longer with us. NASCAR commentating hasn't been the same without him. We miss you Steve Byrnes!! But if heaven is real you are up there commentating with Dale Sr. as your guest along with Davey Allison and All the other amazing men we have lost in the Racing World! NASCAR, Indy Car, Formula One, GT Racing, 12hr/24Hr Endurance Racing, And so on! I will Never forget all of the hilarious things you've said and your true sportsmanship attitude you had while on the air for NASCAR!
I miss Steve Byrnes, he had personality. He was fun to watch and was great on tv. RIP. Such a shame. I wish some of the other sportscaters had alittle more of what he had and not be so vanilla.
