This game was hard as hell & to see you finish this game so fast you're a game genius. The music to stage 1 would always draw to the game because back in the 16 bit era this music was unique!

Well done! It's amazing, and borderline hilarious, how easily the bosses and mini-bosses go down when you have the basic attack at Pow 3.
Thanks. Yea it's a shame the transformations aren't that optimal but I kind of feel bad I didn't show them off looking back at this clear. Glad you enjoyed it.
@@VideoGamesCompleted I think at your high skill level the transforms aren't necessary and Elta's level 3 attack is best, but for the vast majority of players the transforms are better. Sometimes if only for the extra health. :)

@@VideoGamesCompleted how do you get so few pterodactyles on st2? especially on platform with 1st door (to optional area which). i also get destroyed by that guardian, mostly cant evade his jump
@@qishmish The short hops. The flyers are on every stage, and they're on a timer. That's why you see me hopping around a lot because you move faster. So I can skip a spawn usually by moving quickly.

I got the AES when it first came out and it came with this game. Unlike most Neo games it did not have infinite continues and I don’t think I ever got past about level 4 or 5 so it’s cool to see this. Was avoiding the power ups a tactic? Does it make it easier to beat or was that like just showing off more? Either way super cool.
i swear i remember this overarching 'Ahhhh aahhh" in the music, sort of like flash gordan, in the first stage or second and now, I cant find any examples of it. so weird. I remember it really gripping me ... sort of a haunting angelic thing. I even looked if there was a score or sound effect.
Hi, thanks for the comment. It's possible it was ripped from something and cleverly disguised. Lot's of Japanese developers did this with a lot of American culture pieces. For instance the arcade flyer for Metamorphic Force has Dolph Lundgrin drawn on it from Masters of The Universe. There's lot of other things like this.

I played this game back when I was 12 and I couldn't remember the name. Now after nearly 20 years the search is over thanks to Guru Larry. He told me the name of the game and said it's on the Nintendo Switch.
Magician lord has a hidden double jump that was never on game manual. I could've used in the beginning of the castle stage and there's a short cut right in the beginning of the first stage. From the top u can double jump over the pole straight down to the door. Figures that out myself :)

Thank you. Memorization is the key to all games to be fair. I noticed you made a comment about autofire but I no longer see it. Not sure if you deleted it but to answer your question, it's subjective. Most Japanese players don't consider it cheating however, by my own standards I feel that if the game doesn't have built in autofire, then it is a 3rd party tool and not standard play, therefore it is technically cheating to me. However, I don't judge others that use it, just a personal thing for me.
I deleted it because I re-read your comment. you comment said No Cheats (and my mind must have ignored the comment following that says "or autofire") Because I too consider autofire cheating and it looked as if you were using autofire. I deleted it after I saw the part where you said you didn't use autofire. You've got some massively fast fingers.
We play it 3 to 4 month continuesly day and night to learn how end it back when it was came out

Okay? Can you go into detail why this is impossible? I did this live on Twitch and on a real neo MVS board. So please explain in your vast knowledge of this game how this isn't possible.

Even the best gamers in the world would have a nightmare trying to beat this game and your playing it like its a walk in the park? And your bosses are dying with minimal shots. Something is fishy.
@@1978mackdaddy Well, I also own this game for the original Neo Geo. It's an MVS cartridge, the arcade version which pre-dates your home console. This was done on an original Neo Geo because that's exactly what that is. I used an arcade stick when playing and everything you see done on here is possible by a human. Like I said, I did this playing it live and on hardware. This isn't done on an emulator, I didn't use any autofire. You can try any of these strategies yourself and you'll see they work. There's nothing fishy going on, nothing was modified, no cheat codes are being used, and it was done on an original Magician Lord MVS cartridge. I understand when you think a game is so hard it can be difficult to conceive someone else beating it easily (it wasn't easy, but the end result looks that way), but keep in mind, I did several attempts before this run was achieved. I play a lot of games live on my twitch channel, I use the mic and you can hear me press buttons and fail all the time. It was one of the first games released on Neo Geo two years later SNK begins to tap into the real power it has.
