Bora Bora is amazing. But Huahine is more beautiful and much more to do. It's a part of the islands. A short flight away from Bora Bora. Go to Bora Bora first. Then visit the other islands after. Paradise.
I have been there, 8 full days. At the four seasons, It was amazing in every way. Just a tip, use high sunscreen all the time, even when clouds, and especially swimming.
Just came back from bora bora, went to Tahiti 10days, Moorea 10days, Bora bora 7days, the whole French Polynesia is expensive , food, transfer, renting cars, and if you fly from Europe like us, the flight ticket cost a lot too. If just about water, I prefer Bora bora the Best But if the whole pack( hotels + services+ food+ water sports activities ), Maldives is a great choice
Maria Diaz about around 900€ per night include breakfast but without lunch and dinner and drinks and not include transfer, and hotel service (about 10 € To charge for room service each time) in bora bora, food is expensive in bora bora, e.g one fresh coconut cost about 11€. But Tahiti and moorea have more choice , hotels price there starts from 150€ per night .
I've been to the Maldives 5 times but never been to Bora Bora so what are the comparisons with prices? Maldives had a lot to offer regarding water sports, island hopping, snokelling, beautiful beaches, and the capital Male. Bora Bora is on my list but I've seen many tropical islands in the past (Seychelles, Bali, Mauritius, Caribbean etc) so is it worth us going to Bora Bora? It sounds to me that Bora Bora is way too expensive
We stayed at a resort but you can always opt for an airBNB to save money. There are several small local restaurants with delicious food that are far less expensive and less touristy as well. Activities are much more affordable in Moorea. You can expect to pay twice as much for the same activity in Bora.
You are right Ahsan Nadeem but you didn't got my point This alux.com is a place where we get learning and inspiration which future billionaires come to get this and just give a comment down there. LEAVE IT
We went at the end of June...absolutely amazing/breathtaking. We AirBnB'd a private bungalow that used to be owned by Marlon Brando. We went to the store everyday like the locals for our food for the day & fresh baguettes. A week is about right...it IS gorgeous, but there isn't a ton to do & the cuisine is nothing special. We planned for a couple of years & saved & used a credit card with travel points to buy any & everything we could during that time (gas, groceries, etc) to help offset the cost.
We went to Bora Bora last October and it was AMAZING. Can’t wait to return. Pictures dont do the beauty here justice. This isn’t a vacation place for the people on a budget but thats what makes it so nice to go to… most tourists here have lots of money and class, and there are few people in general on the island. We spend an average of 40K on a vacation here.
We loved Bora Bora. An absolute must do. St. Regis OWB facing Mt. O.... room 228 I believe frickin rocked. 7-10 day recommended stay time. Invest in business class, it’s worth it.
We visited in August and it was definitely beautiful. We were lucky enough to stay in an over water bungalow as well. However, I did like Moorea a bit more.
yeah I hope you visited people there... they forgot to say that population are really kind When I use to go there in aunt house at 15 I use to walk down the road at night and one time was invited in people house like three times in just a walk... I don't know if that change tough it's been 10 years haven't been there
I can't help but wonder if the bungalow huts in the water have proper plumbing. When u flush the toilet where does the waste go? I keep looking at images & I'm not seeing it & we all also know the ocean is where humans dump everything. So when u plop does it just drop?
There actually is some pollution there. They have to burn their trash and sometimes the air can get somewhat smoky. I even got kind of sick because of the smoke that was in the air from the hotel burning their trash.(It was right next to the room I was in). Just something I noticed when I was there.
Nice Video!... I don't want to be picky, but you're wrong in the point 8. I spent 8 days in Bora Bora recently, and I had no problem paying with my Master Card, also with Euros ( restaurants, hotels, jetsky rentals, all of them have no issues with Master or cash in Euros). You hit the nail in all the other points ; )
This is one place I would want to visit. I'm aware how expensive it is. I've been to many tropical islands like Mauritius, Bali, Langkawi, Maldives, Phuket, Krabi, Sri Lanka, Seychelles, Jamaica, St Lucia, Barbados but this one and Palawan in Philippines are the ones that eluded me so hopefully we will eventually go there in time.
I have been to both Bora Bora and the Maldives. They are different experiences and both great but I would give the Maldives a slight edge for being the most remote.
Never been to Bora Bora but I've been to the Maldives 5 times and stayed in one of the expensive resorts Gili Lankanfushi. Also stayed at Reethi, Baros, Paradise Island and Meeru
Great video! Love this channel. Please make a video about Spitsbergen (Svalbard) or the North and the South Poles as a travel destination. Wealthy people do actually travel to these places.
I’m not rich but I think it’s better than if it would be cheap and accessible by anyone. Imagine how mass tourism would ruin the island and its ecosystem.

Bora Nui).
They have garden bungalows as well as regular hotels. You don't have to be over the water.
