I loved this video. It answered one of the questions I had because me and my friend were have a little argument about whos abs were better because his are flat while mine pop out more but have more fat.

When I looked at your shirt I realized that every female character in ATLA are well written badasses. Really, I can't think of a bad recurring female character (or male character) in the show.
@Aaron Smith I'll say that out of all the female characters Mai and Ty Lee were probably the least written/developed characters. But, I think Mai has a small but solid arc in terms of her character, she had a good relationship with Zuko and she overcame her fear of Azula at the end because of her feelings for Zuko.
@Aaron Smith I guess we have to agree to disagree, I will say Mai and Ty Lee do get the least development, but considering how little screen time they get, I think the writers did a good enough job with their characters considering it would have been easy for the writers to just make them generic evil sidekicks. I do understand where you're coming from though.
I really hate myself. During my early teen years I had the skinny boy natural cut abs but had no muscles. I immigrated to America at an awkward point in my life and for 3 years I stopped really being active like I once was due to new responsibilities and social anxiety adapting. Fast forward now at 17 i'm 5'5 and weigh around 150. I feel like shit every single day, I'm trying to workout but going to the gym rn during covid scares me so dorm room workout is the go-to. Idk why I typed this but i just felt like doing it since this video was genuinely interesting
I also can't go to the gym right now, but try downloading a home workout app on google play, It actually works great for me. I am currently using two home workout apps, one for bodyweight exercises that I sometimes add dumbbells to to increase difficulty, and one for flexibility training. I've seen some good results from doing one workout from each 4 days a week (8 workouts in total each week) So essentially, Monday - arms and stretch Wednesday - core and stretch friday - shoulders/back and stretch saturday - legs and stretch If you want to maintain a high metabolism and lose some extra weight, you can add a very light cardio workout on Tuesday and Thursday to keep burning calories efficiently during your rest periods, but keep at least one day of the week as a rest day
I am looking for the gymnast abs. I used to do parkour and felt like I could never do what I truly wanted to do with it. I know that I need to work on that area a lot. Currently doing the Miles Morales work out Jax put up. #allmightyabs
@@sajareeslife5646 Stick with whole foods, like meats and veggies, and avoid/minimize sugars, grains, and starches. Those promote insulin resistance if taken too far, and that has negative effects like weight gain in the abdomen.

My favorite type of abs are core combined with high rep training. Like a boxer and a gymnast. My abs aren’t as strong as I would like them to be but I got decent ab circuit for that. I started recently so I’m hoping to see results in the future. Also I love the sweater in the thumbnail. I gotta get me one of those.
@@ИльяЧернов-б4ф but the obliques and the serratus naturally get defined by punching/kicking the bag (since you need the balance to attack and do the movements) At least it's what I understood from reading in different sites
I’m in the thicker side when it comes to my midsection (not so much my arms lol) so my hope for abs are the thicker ones cuz I won’t become lean enough nor can I maintain it so I gotta add some weights to it from now on and I like core exercises more than abs cuz they feel like they actually do something good for the body
I've been doing calisthenics this summer because i've been underweight most of my life. I'm 16 now and added a little bit of muscle by using a backpack for weights but now i'm going to start a gym for the first time, i'm so excited and your videos have really helped me
Great video! Talking about lower back... Lower back is my weakest point and it makes training anything harder... Because if theblower back is part of the movement, thats what fails first, and therefore i cant train the other muscles involved further... How can i get a stronger lower back? If i had to pick one for looks, i like the figter one... For functionality i would probably do all of the training

Ugh I'm lacking on a six pack. Thanks for the video, you're always a good watch. I'm not really caring what type of abs right now but I'm working on getting rid of my love handles. I've always had the hardest time doing that, I've been doing martial arts my whole life (fighting, flips, crazy kicks with spins) and stay super very active and anytime I gained a little bit of fat, it would go straight to the love handles lol. I'm currently getting my body back from back to back ACL surgeries in the past couple of years and it's tough.
@@oni_king895 damn, you got potential to be a freak of nature man, if you cant do diamond push ups perfectly yet I recommend starting on your knees then progress to a incline diamond push up till your able to do it on the floor normally. Hope that helped

Did some ab workout ages ago, the straight legs laying raise (cant remember name) spent the next two days in pain and unable to move, my lower back suffers anyway from a squat mistake and work. But I would want a thinner prob between flat and bulked abs, just need to sort eating habit and get myself to do some core work
Dont make your legs down go all the way do not try to make the move a hip flexor based movement more than an abs movement. Move ur legs down till you see your stomach un contract then lift it back up.

I used to have a "natural" six pack because I had a skinny frame and did lots of core training as part of my martial arts training as a kid, but now that I'm hitting my 30s and stuck at home with quarantine, I'm slowly developing the potbelly. To try to regain my almighty abs, I'm actually doing the ring fit and presetting my skills to focus on "core" and "posture", because my work is pretty sedentary and I don't want to get that lower back pain. I've always been skinny and I did martial arts from age 15 to age 19 and got a really shredded six pack and each app was shaped kind of like square? (If that makes any sense) and then I stopped training for a couple and lost my abs and muscle and was just skin and bones and then started training in martial arts on top of going to the gym again about a year ago and got my abs back but for some reason they're a different shape than they used to be. I'm not sure what changed but I want that box shape back again.
14 years old and i got flat abs....I eat healthy and calisthenics...well it feels like I got the body of an athletic woman, better then nothing I guess. Definitely gonna listen to every advice Jax gives.
I really just need to know how to get rid of love handles. I have abs but my body decides it wants to store literally all of my fat there. So I have the cobra shaped body but then the fat sitting around my waist ruins it.
Koben Penny I’m pretty sure it has to do with genes. Also it doesn’t help that I am naturally slightly on the thicker side. Also The love handles aren’t really that visible. Kinda exaggerated on my comment
I lost 20lbs from walking up and down stairs. My knees started hurting so I stopped for a few weeks and I'm doing jump rope now and I'm already seeing results

I've heard having higher metabolism makes it harder to gain muscle and I've trained and I've eaten 5000 calories a day but I'm still scrawny. I have some muscle but I'm 5"10 and only 140 lbs with very very low body fat I'm only 16 soon 17 and when I was like 12 13 I was doing 500 situps every night but no gains, I've got decent strength but minimal muscle shows how do I work through this if I have an absolutely insane metabolism? I've got highly muscular legs because I run a lot and actually wanna be in the Olympics but I want my body to be strong and aesthetically pleasing overall how can I achieve this? P.S. love your stuff been watching for years great job love your work. #allmightyabs
Because you’re not doing it consistently and also you say “you’ve trained”. Does that mean regular consistent strength training with weights? Or as you said doing sit-ups and pushups as well as running. You’re probably doing too much cardio. Chances are you’re not a genetic freak and you’re just not training/eating right.
@@imhopelesslyaddictedtofent4266, I do do this consistently, my average day consists f 5 meals with snacks in between. I'm not hoping to get big I just want high muscle definition and strength with an aesthetic similar to a calisthenics professional.

I find that superman's and cutting wood/sledgehammer slams help me with my lower back strength
deadlift often
Deadlifts, good mornings, or just stand a lot. You'd be surprised how much stronger your lower back gets when it just has to support your torso a lot.
deadlift is a great with proper form, I also love Yoke carry for the whole core itself
Abs workouts can help your core which is part of your lower back

(If that makes any sense) and then I stopped training for a couple and lost my abs and muscle and was just skin and bones and then started training in martial arts on top of going to the gym again about a year ago and got my abs back but for some reason they're a different shape than they used to be. I'm not sure what changed but I want that box shape back again.

14 years old and i got flat abs....I eat healthy and calisthenics...well it feels like I got the body of an athletic woman, better then nothing I guess. Definitely gonna listen to every advice Jax gives.
I really just need to know how to get rid of love handles. I have abs but my body decides it wants to store literally all of my fat there. So I have the cobra shaped body but then the fat sitting around my waist ruins it.
Just go on a cut I guess, don’t push it to unhealthy levels though.

Koben Penny I’m pretty sure it has to do with genes. Also it doesn’t help that I am naturally slightly on the thicker side. Also The love handles aren’t really that visible. Kinda exaggerated on my comment

I've heard having higher metabolism makes it harder to gain muscle and I've trained and I've eaten 5000 calories a day but I'm still scrawny. I have some muscle but I'm 5"10 and only 140 lbs with very very low body fat I'm only 16 soon 17 and when I was like 12 13 I was doing 500 situps every night but no gains, I've got decent strength but minimal muscle shows how do I work through this if I have an absolutely insane metabolism? I've got highly muscular legs because I run a lot and actually wanna be in the Olympics but I want my body to be strong and aesthetically pleasing overall how can I achieve this? Stop running if you wanna get big, also you say that you’ve “eaten” 5000 cals a day but that doesnt matter if you’re not eating a lot consistently.
Because you’re not doing it consistently and also you say “you’ve trained”. Does that mean regular consistent strength training with weights? Or as you said doing sit-ups and pushups as well as running. You’re probably doing too much cardio. Chances are you’re not a genetic freak and you’re just not training/eating right.
