There is no right or wrong answer, it’s about opinions and I don’t think its that clear for one or the other to be better.
Previously commented this on an older video but was told to comment it again in case they did not see.
Idea for a video:
Since there are now 9 players on the bench in the prem, plus the 11 starters, that's a total of 20.
The goal would be to build a lineup by taking one player from each team. Ideally, you have a backup goalie and at least 2 defenders, 2 mids and 2 forwards on the bench to make it realistic.
You can wait until after the transfer window but I think it would be an interesting video!

Gerrard's undying loyalty was his downfall. If he agreed to go to Manchester, Chelsea or Madrid he'd be held in much higher regard. Single handedly made Liverpool a consistent top 4 team challenging for the title, winning domestic trophies and reaching UCL finals with players like Sinama Pongolle and Djimi Traore in the team. Outside of England, Gerrard is considered the best talent the country has ever produced. If you don't believe me, google what the greats have said about his ability. Alarmingly underrated in the UK.

Fabregas 09/10 in only 27 games got 15 goals and 15 assists for a team that still finished 11 points off top he’s up there with the very best. All comps that year 39 goals and assists in 37 games if he hadn’t got injured he could’ve actually won Arsenal the league that year and still hold the record for most PL goal involvements in a season that’s how good he was. And that Messi year of 90+ goals how many assists were down to Cesc? A lot.

As for national level, three of them have a World Cup, and those same three also won the euros, and modric pulled a much worse side than Belgium to a World Cup final.
KDB CAN reach that level, but I’m not convinced he’s there. I would say he’s still not even best in the premier league, Lampard had a higher peak both domestically in terms of output and showed up in bigger moments in UCL.

Xabi Alonso was consistently in the Spanish starting XI during their period of dominance, whilst Fabregas was either a back-up, or played out of position, yet Fabregas gets in ahead of Alonso? Alonso was part of R.Sociedad's team that got their highest ever points tally in their history (whilst he was their captain at 20), was part of R.Madrid's greatest ever points tally, and part of Liverpool's greatest points tally until it was broken in 2019. How on earth is Fabregas ahead of Alonso? Alonso should even be ahead of Silva.

@@guleedabdule No, the only reason he was played out of position was because Spain didn't have any strikers after Torres fell out of form and Villa was used as a winger. When they did play Villa/Torres up top, Fabregas didn't get in the team. Even Cazorla was ahead of Fabregas in the Spain team.

Drinkwater didn’t take the league with him, Leicester won it in 15/16, Kante won it with Chelsea 16/17, and Drinkwater joined in 17/18. Kante is ahead of Viera, 2 league titles (invincibles is cool but to win the league with a relegation side is unheard of), a world cup, and a UCL puts him ahead of Viera.
Vieira won 3 league titles, 4 FA cups, and also a 1998 World Cup. Only thing Kante had ahead of Vieira is UCL. Vieira was a better player over all and one of the best ever period

@@yessi1585 If you're 25 or under, I understand that logic. All you know about Zizou is that his forehead is made of steel. But I lived through Zidane in his prime alongside Xavi and Iniesta too. As elite as the Catalan duo are, Zidane's something else. Talent wise he's up there with the Messi, Pele, Maradona, Van Bastens etc. And the history books speak for themselves in terms of his overall impact at Juve and Real, let alone France. Iniesta is amazing but there's nothing he can do that Zizou can't. In an era with R9, Baggio, Weah, Figo, Rivaldo, Zidane was the consistent standout. Iniesta is arguably viewed as Barca's 4th greatest player of their dominant era (behind Messi, Dinho and Xavi) and just about makes top 10 list of opverall football greats in that era.

Pirlo isnt close to Lampard (or either Gerrard/Scholes for that matter). He came into his own late into his career whereas Lampard was at the top froma very young age. There's been a lot of revisionism about Pirlo's career and maybe part of it is because the younger generation didn't see his early days. There's no eay he should be considered in the debate for greatest midfielder of all time (and tbf Lampard, Gerrard and Scholes shouldn't be near it either). The only contenders from my lifetime really are Matthaus, Zidane, Xavi and Iniesta. The others are all world class but those 4 are ahead and it's not a difficult decision. Who you pick out of them is personal preference and depends on what you valued most.

@@philmark2296 Ronaldinho may have been more naturally talented and skillful than lots of players but when comparing player's careers you have to look at things like longevity, cnsistency and general goalscoring not just raw skill. He isn't a greater player than the likes of Zidane, Matthaus, Laudrup, Xavi, Iniesta etc. His peak was short relative to the players we're comparing him with. If Maradona's in the conversation then yeah obviously he's above everyone else mentioned.
I love Iniesta but let’s put it like this when we talk about the overall GOAT, Zidane’s name pops up into the convo along with Messi, Maradona, CR7, R9, etc.

Idea for a video:
Since there are now 9 players on the bench in the prem, plus the 11 starters, that's a total of 20.
The goal would be to build a lineup by taking one player from each team. Ideally, you have a backup goalie and at least 2 defenders, 2 mids and 2 forwards on the bench to make it realistic.
You can wait until after the transfer window but I think it would be an interesting video!
