Always liked MM when I was a kid my neighbor had a G1000 Always thought that they were great tractors. We had international. Don't know why but I just remembered i Barried our tractor one spring my dad was not to happy but he Chained a couple of blocks of firewood to the tires walked it out of the hole. Learned something new that day. May God bless you always in Jesus name Amen 🙏. Thank you for your videos
Nice looking MM. They were some pulling old tractors. When I was pulling the antiques that were somewhat stock , if there was Moline in the class look out they were probably going to win. Thanks for sharing Bill.
MM had the first factory designed enclosed cab. I think it was a UDX, also called the "Comfortractor". Had a road speed and a bench seat for the farmer who could only afford a tractor and not another vehicle to go to town in. Great video,Bill!
We had one neighbor that had one. I never saw it outside of their shed that had it parked in. I know that it did run. They just weren’t very popular around here. Now you see them in the tractor rides and parades.
The 5 star gas and lp were only 283 cubic inch the diesel was 336 cubic inch...the 5 star was replaced in 1960 with the m5 which all fuels had the 336 cubic inch
The true factory LP gas engines were higher compression than the gasoline models. Lots of pulling power in those long stroke engines. That should be right up your alley for pulling tractors 😈
Awesome review. Ive got 2 5stars. One with the 283. The other is a buit up 336 with a .060 over bore and worked over lp heads.
That's a gorgeous 5star. Thank you very much for sharing her with us. It was called ampli-torque

Hey Bill,,nice old machine. Moline is the only manufacturer that made an LP tank look cool.
The 5 star was only built 3 years 57 through 59 but some were still available in 60
Doesn't matter what brand it is...when it's old it is cool
I believe they were the first tractor to come out with a cab

I notice in the back ground of your videos you seem to have a nice collection of lawn and garden tractors. Do many of them run?
