Nice job. When I did a similar but much larger project, I used precast concrete planks for the roof because they were cheaper and faster than casting in place. That was 1990. The current prices may not support my choice at this time. The crane contractor was a friend who gave me a good price. Good Luck, Rick

Nice job! Could you answer a technical question, what do you use foundations with pillars buried in the ground? Thank you!

I'd love to see the video showing this bunker being completed. It looks great quality so far.

Does anybody know what the price range might be for something like this?

Nice! Thats a quality job that will serve them well. I personally prefer filled and reinforced CMU walls because I hate waiting to backfill, and i can keep "eyes" off my work if we need to, but poured is top notch.

This one of the few presentations I have seen of the many that deal with the construction of such projects involving reinforced concrete and steel that even mention any measures taken to counter water seepage or earth slippage. At least this structure unlike many others wont end up as an expensive sublevel swimming pool, mould farm or fully furnished crypt or all three. From some of the oversights I've seen on youtube recently, It seems as though there is a large number of people who in an effort to escape or at least mitigate the effects of one kind of apocalypse or another are hell bent on building or installing personal bunkers or shelters but are merely creating excellent dying rooms and family tombs within easy reach of their own homes... When it comes to domestic renovations and modifications, a little bit of knowledge appropriately applied can result in some seriously lethal outcomes.

Great work, what was the square footage and construction cost for everything that we've seen on this project? No line item list just approx. please.

    Infrastructure:
Bunker would add about 10 foundations at a depth of 10 meters, Konstrtktzih of iron and cement.
4 drainage holes at a depth of eight feet, with plastic sleeves and gravel.
    Preparation of electricity.
    Operation grounding structure,
    Ovarian adds electrical wiring.

I'm pretty sure that it's just a garage built in to the hill side to utilise space. ( bunker referring to it being semi submerged)

30-50k depending on how much concrete that really is, and if you do any of it yourself. That's my guess of what you should set aside...you can build a 600sq garage with concrete foundation for 9-10k if you do all the work yourself other than the pour of concrete. Depends where you live too (costs can vary by region, country). I would say 30K should get you the whole thing framed and poured in the US, but call a few contractors? good luck

    thanks.

now the question is how much will all this cost...I have 5 acres and would love to build something like this on the back of my property... but the cost is probably astronomical... and I am is Alabama... so probably nobody here doing this type of work.

I love pure concrete contruction. No blocks. No pre casts. Just formed concrete and steel. This structure would be super strong

Big Al that's happening to our (very old) house. We're actually going to have the entire foundation built like this client's reinforced structure. Not terrible for a house that existed in the time of Napoleon.

If you want survive Armageddon in tact. A real bunker is 3 feet or more thick with rounded sides with a 4 foot thick or more dome ceiling.

I don't prepare for doomsday. I prepare for the days before doomsday. Tribulation will be hard times. If you look at the Bible as the truth, but also in the sense of a parable, it gives you instruction to prepare for hard times to come, but also warns you to be ready for The Lord to come. At that point in time, all your preps will become moot, but until that time, they could keep you alive. Joseph prepared for the seven year drought, why shouldn't we prepare for the seven year tribulation?
