Learning a second instrument is easier than the first because you know what you are looking for. You know where Em is on your guitar but where is it on the keyboard? As for your dear lady loving the idea??? I have tried the, 'God told me to,' line and it doesn't really work.
Hi John. I believe you can adjust the touch response of the keys on the Roland (in addition to just turning on/off). Fixed, light, medium and heavy. Maybe another setting would work better for you. That said, I think the Yamaha sounds much, much nicer in this video. Hope you are well.
Thank you for this interesting comparison. To my ears the Yamaha is much nicer.
My pleasure!
The Intro Sound from JUMP Van Halen is missing?
I will take this a the sign i was waiting For and buy a keyboard to finally learn to play it well, my wife is going to love the idea Im sure (?)

I have tried all the settings but the problem is the rubber key contacts which are too stiff. It is a shame because the voicing is very good.
Bravo bass guitar sounds for Roland, however Yamaha is the more richer sounds.
To me the Yamaha sounds better despite having half the polyphony of the Roland.
