I learn something worthwhile every time I watch your videos. Thank you for sharing this valuable information! Hope all goes well with the new baby. Congratulations ahead of time! :)
Ty so very much for this lovely video. I struggle with finding fabrics suitable for cooler weather, this was very helpful for me! I now have a better understanding of what to look for.Ty❤
You’re looking well. Hoping all is going well. I had all day morning sickness with my son until the end of month four and o didn’t look as good as you are now. Best wishes
Hi Lauren, fabulous picks as usual 💕👌. I must get around to trying the ginger jeans and your set of hardware for them sounds like a brilliant idea and should encourage me to get going 😉😁. Wishing you all the best with your baby's delivery...very exciting 👶💖😊😘
I'm really focused on making all sorts of pants atm. I've been lusting after the Dawn jeans since they came out and I really want some dark beautiful denim to make an every day pair. The Índigo pattern also looks very tempting for those days when you want to go comfy!
I love the dawn jeans! I made a pair not long before I got pregnant so couldn't get much wear out of them...fingers crossed they fit me again one day but I know I'll make another pair anyway!
Oohh leggings!! I’m loving the Indigo at the moment - such a good pattern for everyday and work wear depending on fabric choice. I really need to brave some jeans too... a 2020 project I think!!
I wash mine in the washing machine on a regular 40 degree cycle as this is generally how I wash my jeans once they are sewn up. I let them air dry and give the fabric a good press and steam with the iron before cutting out. It's still very common and normal for fabric to be a little stiff, depending on the weight/thickness of the fabric, at this stage but the more you wear in the jeans the softer and more moulded to your body shape they become. I hope that helps :)
I believe all the patterns are available as pdf downloads so you could get them direct from the pattern companys website and then take the file to a copy shop for them to print it out full size for you :)
All the best Lauren with your baby xx
Your videos are always so helpful...thanks for spending the time doing them. Best wishes to you on the safe arrival of your new little one.

Great video Lauren. I’m interested in the indigo pattern and the Virginia leggings so very helpful. 🤗
I have that Atelier Brunette fabric. I’m going to my nephew’s wedding in the spring and I’m aiming on making a dress out of this

I’m so keen on the PaulineAlice mini pattern at the moment. Really adaptable.
how do you wash the denim so your jeans wont be so stiff and hard ?

great video Lauren! Would the loop back jersey be suitable for the ebony top too ?
Yeh for sure! Jo who works in the shop has made a few of them with that fabric!
Is it possible to get the shirt pattern in the US? :)

Hi Lauren, can the wool fabric used in the carnaby dressed be washed? Thank you.
I haven't tested it myself but I'd say probs best not to machine wash it :)
Hi Lauren . Best of luck with baby. Can the leggings be made without an overlock machine?
Uta Putt yeh they can, I made mine on my regular sewing machine using a stretch stitch
I loved the look of the denim, the Ginger jeans specifies 20% stretch - does this denim have that amount? thanks x
Yeh I think you'd be fine with it :)
