- South Africa has gone through a number of surveys which predicted results leading up to these elections, and now it's a few of days before the nation gets to hear the outcomes.
The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, or CSIR, through its partnership with the SABC, has been using its technology to bring its elections forecast to the South African audiences since the two organisations formed a partnership in 1999.
Joining us in the studio is the Manager of Planning and Systems at the CSIR Professor Pravesh Debba.
Also joining us is Doctor Sithembile Mbete, Senior Lecturer at the University of Pretoria.
