    Oooo this is making me really want to take a road trip! Taylor finally convinced me to get a car, so we're going to be getting one as soon as my residency card comes through! 🇲🇽

    Thanks Laura for this wonderful presentation of Costa Alegre. The only place I visited is Yelapa, which I found amazing. Was it hot this time of the year. I suppose the answer is yes.

    Too bad there’s a little bar in the center of town where you can see them along the river. Almost no stray dogs there.

    Hello there. How much did you pay per day to rent the car? And where did you rent the car from? Thank you

    • @laura-bronner
      @laura-bronner  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I got it from Vasa car rental in Melaque and I think it was equivalent to about $35 USD including all insurance.

    We traveled this coast often on travels in Mexico. The coasta alegra is more exposed to the ocean and waters are not protected as much as in the big bay by P.V. for swimming - we were some places and saw the big ocean waves coming in and couldn't swim; also, no life guards given the coast is not very populated and services/infrastructure are limited. Nevertheless, we've seen amazing bird life, experienced horses running free on the beach and a place more natural and unspoiled. It would appeal the most to those that prefer being more "out in the boondocks".

    • @laura-bronner
      @laura-bronner  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wow I didn't see any horses, but I did love visiting this coast. I think I prefer it for short trips, like you say it doesn't have all the amenities you might way, but those quiet beach days with nothing other than a food stall and some fresh seafood - definitely a nice day out!
