Very inspirational for me, a former church choir singer myself, that male voices can still be used so positively to sing God's praise. I sure still consider to make my own music ministry soon, but right now I am in the midst of moving from my home country, seeking a better climate for a Christian man really.
By the way, even modern Christians songs can be rooted in scripture/ doctrinal sound. Jesus, according to red letters in the KJV, His word spoken and quoted, could have called twelve legions of angels to save Him from the cross at any time. A legion in Roman tradition being all from 5000 to 6200, apparently. So, at least 30.000 angels, and what also follows confirms the doctrines of the song too:
53Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels? 54But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?
