FRED!!!! I was waiting so patiently for him to come onto the podcast! He's my favorite voice actor of all time! A legend, a very kind soul and one of the coolest people to exist! His range is insane and he's got the best wisdom!!
Fred's just a legend in his own right. By far one of the best voices Megatron in recent years that I've ever heard, but his ability to do monsters is absolutely incredible.
It's Hulk! And even rather casual with Transformers nowadays, I still remember Fred Tatasciore as the voice of Megatron in War for Cybertron and as Grindor in the Revenge of the Fallen video game. "Headshot!"
Fred is one of those actors I'm almost surprised surprised by. For every Hulk he does, there's an Esther Rolle. "My name is Florida. That's the name of a state!" That Good Times cutaway is one of my favourite Family Guy parodies.
Damon Baird, Master Shifu (from the show) and Gah-Ri, Magnus, Aaarrrgghh, Hades... so many characters I absolutely enjoy, that Fred's brought to life with his versatile acting. I'm so glad this channel exists to be able to see one legendary voice actor in Jim interviewing other legendary voice actors.
I met Fred back in 2018. He is the sweetest guy! I was trying out a Soldier 76 impression with him and he gave me tips on how to do it better. It was an absolute joy to meet him and make a wonderful memory like that.
One of the New Vegas devs said the most entertaining recording session was Fred Tatasciore as Tabitha/Rhonda. He read through the whole script flawlessly switching voices in real time.
Love Fred! He's the voice I always imagine in my head for Hulk whenever I read any of the comics. Also grew up playing Call of Duty Zombies a lot so really liked the differenr Nikolai's he played.
I still gotta give my love to Lou Ferrigno, the only guy I'm aware of, other than Doug Jones, who portrayed a character without voicing him, then voiced that same character in animation. It'd be like David Prowse voicing Vader in Clone Wars. Lou's Hulk had such tenderness and rage. But man Fred's got that versatility, he can be ANY Hulk.
I like Fred's voices, he makes them sound so strong and bold, and he voices other interesting characters, like the farmer from back in the barnyard, and master shifu from kung fu panda legends of awesomeness
Please interview Frank Welker Tom Kenny Grey Delisle or even Kevin Michael Richardson next. Or if you want to interview videogame voice actors Troy Baker is someone I want to see on here.
The bit where he pretends to be unable to read his name is excellent. Fred's amazing. I mean to me Hulk will always be Lou Ferrigno. Something about his 'deaf accent' really made Hulk feel more primal and childlike and sensitive. But Fred's a lot more articulate and sometimes that's what you want in your Hulk. Wait, he was Esther Rolle on family guy? I thought she came in and guest voiced herself. That was an AMAZING impression. 18:45 aw man that's a job I'd enjoy. Even the guys can take a little pinch once in a while, no harm done. 35:08 just for the record, the Eskimo people are made up of the Inuit and Yupik peoples. So all Inuit are Eskimos, but not the other way around. 1:18:25 that is a shockingly good Jess impression.
I found it interesting when I saw Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness, and learning that Dustin Hoffman _didn’t_ reprise his role as Master ShiFu, but instead it was Fred, and then upon looking him up I learned how to he was also known for voicing the Hulk.
The Fred Tatasciore role I’m most familiar with is Uncle Walton from Constant Payne (a dropped Nickelodeon pilot from 2001). Incredibly bummed that never got picked up for a series.
When I saw him at a Con with my kids. I got Fred to sing the bubbleguppies "it's time for lunch" song, since he voiced that. Probably not a request he was expecting.
Damon Baird is my favorite character in all of gaming, only did I start to realize he's just about everywhere! Assassins creed 2s Mario Auditore de la La, the boomer and tank from Left 4 Dead 2, master shifu from kung fu panda, soldier 76 from overwatch, so many other characters!
He will always be Damon Baird to me. My teenage years revolved around gears of war and I made a ton of lifelong friendships because of Delta Squad. Hope runs deep.
The few characters i know from Fred is Nikolai from call of duty zombies, beard from the gears of war franchise and seren from mass effect a huge fan of his work
Great actor also love his he voices one of the male voices for sims 4 and Jim will always be a legend love how he's in a lot of video games not to mention how Jim plays one of the characters in the dark brotherhood in Skyrim not to mention most of the npc characters
I’ve lost hope years ago. But if I can muster hope. I really hope one of these days you guys get the Mickey Mouse of video games, Charles Martinet. Please. And with that, maybe it’ll lead to the new voice cast of the Mario games!
It would be kind of amazing.. he's so reluctant to do it, but maybe eventually he'll realize it's worth it? God, one could speak for HOURS about his career and his versatility.
Here is some suggestions you should interview the voice actors from X-Men The Animated series or X-Men 97 I know you did Jennifer Hale but there are more
I'm pretty sure this man is currently the most prolific VA - 20 projects a year and a total of 1000 credits? That's gotta be a new world record by now!
I first learned of him from Fallout 3 as the Super Mutants, but from there I learned ALL the voices he did. He was in basically every game I played as a kid, as well as every cartoon.
This is misinformation, Fred Tatasciore did not do any Super Mutants in Fallout 3, you must be confusing him with Wes Johnson who does all the Super Mutant voices. I do understand this confusion though, because they do sound very very similar and Fred would be a good guess, but if you look it up he's not even credited for any Fallouts other than Fallout 76.

I may be one of the few people who associate Megatron primarily with Fred's voice beacuse of this
Love two voice Ron and the hulk 💚😡
yet another legend, loved him as Saren in Mass Effect
Fred is one of those actors I'm almost surprised surprised by. For every Hulk he does, there's an Esther Rolle. "My name is Florida. That's the name of a state!" That Good Times cutaway is one of my favourite Family Guy parodies.
It was so good I thought it was really her. Granted it helps that she already had kind of an unusual voice. He nailed it.
What an awesome and amazing stream of consciousness! Incredible talents on full display. 11/10!
Fred Tatascoire as Nikolai - wait a minute, Jim did you try to steal my Vodka and Jim as Pooh I only got honey 😂
Fred was awesome as Megatron. Like the visceral sound he gave him was just terrific
And surprisingly fitting as *_Shao Kahn_* himself from _Mortal Kombat Legends_ animated movies.
16:42 spot on Mr. Mackey impression 🤩
Fred's a huge legend!!!! I'd love to meet him at a con someday!
I met Fred back in 2018. He is the sweetest guy! I was trying out a Soldier 76 impression with him and he gave me tips on how to do it better. It was an absolute joy to meet him and make a wonderful memory like that.

I want to meet Fred someday!
Awesome! Glad to be early! Especially with such a great guest!
Fred was also my fave on his role as Saren in Mass Effect 1
Awesome episode!
This man voices half the entire Crash Bandicoot cast and he's killed it with every single character. He can voice the other half anytime!
Fred Tatasciore? that guy who voiced Dirk Dinkum from The Garfield Show and Dingodile from Crash Bandicoot 4
Loving all these! You got Tress! Now we need Frank Welker! Keep up the Awesome work Jim and Chris! We’re all here for it
Love Fred! He's the voice I always imagine in my head for Hulk whenever I read any of the comics.
Also grew up playing Call of Duty Zombies a lot so really liked the differenr Nikolai's he played.
Nikolai was always my favorite.
the best hulk there is.

It'd be like David Prowse voicing Vader in Clone Wars. Lou's Hulk had such tenderness and rage. But man Fred's got that versatility, he can be ANY Hulk.
On lower decks interviews, Fred always seems to be in the background and to me he seems like the most talented of the bunch!!
Knew i recognized the name!
22:51 “we’re working on [Mark Hamill]” 😍
When Fred was doing the low battery restart remix bit I was laughing so hard I started crying and feeling light headed. Fred is so hilarious!
I like Fred's voices, he makes them sound so strong and bold, and he voices other interesting characters, like the farmer from back in the barnyard, and master shifu from kung fu panda legends of awesomeness

Fred is my second favorite Hulk, besides Lou Ferrigno. He would make a good Dr Eggman too, since Jim played him.
Love Freds Hulk. He does such an amazing job!
Maybe it’s just me, but Tatasciore’s voice and range reminds me of Kevin Michael Richardson. 🤣
Just went and looked up his scene in Gladiator. So cool!!

This counts as a Mini Kung Fu panda legends of awesomeness reunion, but we finally have two Taz in the room
This is basically Hulk meeting/confronting Absorbing Man
Loved you in Gears of War as Damon Baird! One of my favorite games series (and book series too!)
Baird has entered the room, let the wisecracks commence.😂
He will always be Damon Baird to me. My teenage years revolved around gears of war and I made a ton of lifelong friendships because of Delta Squad. Hope runs deep.
😂 Fred’s Kung-Fu Cow sounds almost like Jack Sheldon from Schoolhouse Rock.
Two Taz’s meet!
Two Yosemite Sam’s meet!
Toon'd In with Jim Cummings is one of my favorite Podcasts! It's cool that he comes from Youngstown Oh,Im from Bowling Green Ohio!
@Toon’d In with Jim Cummings HUUUULK!!!
Magnificent!!!
Two animal voice actors!
In my best announcer voice: Welcome to Caterpillar Talk with Jim and Fred.
The few characters i know from Fred is Nikolai from call of duty zombies, beard from the gears of war franchise and seren from mass effect a huge fan of his work
Nice shirt Fred 😁
Great actor also love his he voices one of the male voices for sims 4 and Jim will always be a legend love how he's in a lot of video games not to mention how Jim plays one of the characters in the dark brotherhood in Skyrim not to mention most of the npc characters
Do Grey DeLisle next!
NIKOLAI!!!
Sometimes, Fred sounds exactly like Andre the Giant without trying. It’s crazy.
I really hope that Jeff Bergman and Danny Mann becomes guests on your show.
Voice of my childhood man
Pete meets Movie Knuckles
Can you come to the Memphis Blues Con this summer?
I dunno if they can ever get Charles Martinet on here but that would be swell
I’ve lost hope years ago. But if I can muster hope. I really hope one of these days you guys get the Mickey Mouse of video games, Charles Martinet. Please. And with that, maybe it’ll lead to the new voice cast of the Mario games!
9:59 - Who especially doesn't get credit as being a voice actor is Mila Kunis, despite being Meg for YEARS by now.
Hopefully Jim gets to perform _the crowning achievement of his podcast career..._
*...invite **_Frank Welker_** himself.*
It would be kind of amazing.. he's so reluctant to do it, but maybe eventually he'll realize it's worth it? God, one could speak for HOURS about his career and his versatility.
I wonder how he would sound if he were to quote Dr. Robotnik as Megatron.
@@PlayStation-9
With distinctive gravel and gravitas, I'd imagine.
I think they're thinking of Jimmy Macdonald who did growling noises with a lamp chimney
The hulk is here
The 2 Taz's!
Hulk is one of my comfort characters.
I’VE GOT YOU IN MY SIGHTS
Here is some suggestions you should interview the voice actors from X-Men The Animated series or X-Men 97 I know you did Jennifer Hale but there are more
My goodness Hulk Is the best ❤😊 Fred Is a great Legend too in the dubbing world 🤩 , Jim you never cease to surprise US i Always enjoy your shows 🥰😀
Ahem... _dubbing applies to works made outside America._
This is just straight-up voice acting.
The Hulk has arrived
I'm pretty sure this man is currently the most prolific VA - 20 projects a year and a total of 1000 credits? That's gotta be a new world record by now!
That is wild information. Outstanding!
Nikolai from cod zombies. This is just as surprising as fourth wifes death
Yay! 😁
Wait, hold up. *Repeating name*, he’s Buff and Rufus! He was in the country bear musical jamboree.
The Jamieson Price of Cartoon Voice Acting
Didn't he voice general tarpals in star wars the clone wars?
Fred's also been in Naruto frequently.
Baird!
Re: Wizard of Oz Wicked Witch section. Does this mean Jim Cummings has some imposter syndrome??
