So cute! I have a question? I’ve never made a pair of shorts or pants. Can u up this and make adult pants or shorts with this technique or is done a different way? Thanks for sharing!!! Have a great day!!!

I'd personally follow the method of construction rather than attempting to increase it to fit an adult. Now the following method I'm going to share is what I'd consider the "quick and dirty method" of creating pants because it doesn't factor in gauge, yarn fibre or any of the stuff you'd want to normally consider for a well-constructed, properly fitted pair of pants. For a pair of straight-leg pants or shorts, create a chain that is big enough to fit around your thigh at its widest point (this may take some fiddling with depending on how loose you want it to be and join to form a ring like I do in the video. Then create your pant leg to your desired length. Repeat with the second leg and join the legs like we do in the video and then crochet around to create your waist (again some fiddling would be needed on how many chains you want to join here). This method takes some fiddling around depending on your body shape and the elasticity in your fabric but you can create shorts/pants using the same method and the best part is you can try them on as you go to see where you need to make adjustments.

It looks like you’re doing your sc into the flo? Is that correct? It’s hard to see with the white background.

can you let me know which round you’re referring to? This entire project is done in sc so I can’t help much without more information
