It's great to see Linden again! ETA - my little RL town of 40k people is full of historic buildings, steep in parts, and highly touristy in the summer, which means we have a surprising amount of underground parking, so I don't think Linden's parking is necessarily unrealistic. For a given value of 'realistic' in a city-builder anyway. ;)
Emerald County is what brought me to your channel. I remember it fondly. I also remember the redevelopment: it was the downtown of the Manhattan-like city on a small peninsula. You massively changed it, and while I liked it, it definitely felt like it was something you weren’t enjoying as much as new development, so I get it. If you’re not enjoying yourself, what’s the point? So I’m happy to watch you build the things you WANT to build rather than what you feel like you need to do because you weren’t satisfied. Better to wait until the inspiration to redevelop hits instead of doing it simply because you aren’t wholly satisfied with what’s there. I hope we DO get another detail oriented build like Emerald County some day, but only because it’s when inspiration strikes you. Love your channel and have done for years. Keep up the great work ❤
Cool build. Remember that you can have a terminal tram stop - you don't need loops like CS-1. Would it be better to take the tram under the metro and straight down to run along the river as a distributor to collect people and take them north? Running your high demand yellow line on a spur will slow it down. It might be more efficient to have a terminal stop before the main orbital rout and run a shuttle from the river and get passengers to interchange - connected tracks would stop you needing another depot.
I love the small little edits throughout the video like the death sound effect with the car crash. It really helps make the video more lively and entertaining
Just to piggyback on your underground parking, they do have some in Chicago. Where they host the Chicago Auto Show and some other locations around Chicago.
thank you thank you thank you, Dylan. You were the first cities youtuber I've ever watched, and that has opened a whole new world of TH-cam for me. I love your videos, God bless.
The small little kiosk thing that you had ‘ no idea where it comes from’ is from the newer small bus station! Which could actually fit nicely where you put the kiosk 🤔
18:16 You could have had Hemlock st (bus rd) come of Autumn st so the buses don't cross over their own paths, then have a walk way over the grass possibly?
In Emerald county you hade hard time to be satisfied with what you have done, what I remember you rebuild some places three times. But I love that serie anyway!
I think you are the best city builder but I suggest you please not create concrete jungle, put focus on detailing of course you can add time lapse for this time consuming process

Renaming a train station only to delete it less than a minute afterwards, never change, I adore the casual comedy.
“Probably a bit of time between this episode and the last one” 😂😂
Just a little bit 😊
There he is! Welcome back and hope you're doing well!

I've done that in my own cities on CS1, flatten an area, looking to rebuild, and it's never as good as I expect it to be 🤣
Love how that car puts the trailer in their pocket 🤣🤣
Linden is actually the city district of my hometown, where I live
Yea new video
This bloke doesn't half waffle 😂😂
That trailer rv. "Where are you going to put that? In your pocket. Okay." 😂

Surprised you don't have the road builder mod yet.
I wasn't really playing much Cities 2 when it was offered to people, so didn't ask for access. Excited to play with it when it releases though! :)
